I think about this video so much
The boy, Rashad Wells, of the 6900 block of South Harvard Avenue, was pronounced dead on the scene, his family said that he was shot 12 times and police officers never let them see the body.
I’m stuck on the fact that it was an off duty officer. And this information about Rashad being shot 12 times is just so crazy. Even though an officer could think this kid was a suspect- how do you shoot someone 12 times without being sure about it? The deputy was not harmed and moreover there was no information about Rashad threatening him in any way, yet we have another dead black teen.
He was OFF DUTY. He wasn’t working. HE WAS KILLING. This is why “Blue lives” don’t exist. You weren’t “blue” when you clocked out and shot Rashad. Fucking murderer is what he is.
Why she snitching ?
yall deadass? wow
Why would put this shit out there and let everyone know what we do?
Wow this one hurt 😔😔😔
Jfc this shit was heavy
Black isn't synonymous to ghetto.
when other races say “nigga” it’s just further proof of the disrespect for black life, black culture, and black history in this country. it also displays that people view black culture as everyone’s. it is universal. everyone has access. everyone can participate.
~neima patterson. july 21, 2013. universal blackness.
Oop. Please repeat.
What’s so bad about periods
At first I was like “no don’t reblog it’ll weird people out” then I was like “oh right that’s the point”
That GOT GIF at the end!
Howlett was hired 10 years ago as the first African American police officer in Warren’s history. A decade later, she’s still the only black officer in the force, and now she’s on leave amid claims of a racist and dangerous work environment.
Police is rotten and even black officers suffer from racism. This is crazy.
Me: “Y’all are so dramatic about everything…chill.” Also me:
Super disgusting! People are FUCKED UP.
It’s racial discrimination to treat someone less polite than someone else would be treated in the same circumstances, because of race. We can’t ignore the case of blatant racism. We MUST draw public attention to such cases. We must ensure that racists are identified and socially discredited. There are no reasons or excuses for racism. It’s just disgusting.
These are incredible..
My heart is full ❤

This white woman’s shocking account of police brutality reveals the importance of the #BlackLivesMatter movement
Molly Suzanna shared a story on Facebook that she had never told before: when she was 19, she ran a red light while crying, then was pulled over and forcefully removed and beaten by a police officer. She explains in the letter that she believes her situation would have been even worse had she been black — and she ends the letter with an important call to action.
The public needs to hear more stories like this as well.
Wow. This is horrifying.
Cops are drunk on power. Add any ism to that, you have a bunch of abusive, gun wielding, trained to kill, non empathetic, killers running around.
This woman got hauled out of a window, beaten, stripped, tortured, and humiliated, and she still is able to understand how white privilege saved her life.

Or all of the above 🙄
In some black communities there’s still a stigma that kinky or coarse hair is “bad”, which couldn’t be further from the truth. There’s no such thing as good or bad when describing someone’s natural hair texture or type. To those struggling to love and accept their natural hair because of societal pressures, remember this - straight, curly, kinky or wavy, it doesn’t make a difference. Embrace your hair the way it is, no matter what society tells you. All hair is good hair. It’s your Crown.
