Whatās that about Spider-Man? Heās decided to drop the super-hero gig and become a comedian? Like this for a one-liner! Uncapped!
āYou know, I really owe a lot to these sidewalks, without them, Iād be on the streets!ā
Ā Ā There were so many terms that Pete couldnāt quite comprehend, he could guess, of course, but really he had no idea. From his own knowledge of wars, he could only imagine that what sheād mentioned were different races of people, or perhaps religions.Ā
Ā Ā As for the blight, he had no idea what that was.Ā
Ā A thoughtful look crossed his expression, fingers tapping his side as he attempted to find the words for how heād describe Earth.āWell, there are wars in my world but Iāve never properly experienced one in New York. As for aggressiveness thereās plenty of that, especially with all the heroes and villains, but theyāre generally taken care of pretty quickly.ā
Ā Ā Little did the woman know that he was, in fact, gloating, subtely of course, but the notion was there.Ā āThese... wars, have you fought in any of them?ā
Ā Ā The boyās cheeks puffed beneath the suit as he took holdy of the bag of books, almost dropping them before he adjusted to their weight. Grunting momentarily, he caught up the short distance that heād fallen behind.Ā āTokyo, huh, Iām from New York,ā he answered.Ā
Ā Spidey himself had little knowledge in the area of other languages, although he did know bits and pieces. As someone who ran their own business it was required that he knew at least a little.
Ā Ā āTrying to be a spider?ā There was a laugh that brushed past his lips, had his hands not been preoccupied he likely wouldāve scratched the back of his head. How was he to explain his situation?Ā āBack in New York Iām a superhero, or vigilante, depending on who you believe. I had abilities similar to a spiderās back home, so, the costume made sense, as well as the name.ā
Ealizationbrought a somewhat guilty look to the face behind the mask momentarily,Ā āAh, they call me Spider-Man, how about you?ā

Ā Ā It was only out the very corner of his eye did he see the attempted pick-pocketing. Before the boy could take off with his wallet, Peter snatched it back with a frown. Who did this kid think he was?Ā āTheft is a crime you know,ā Peter informed the child as he crossed his arms in annoyance.Ā
Ā Ā āYouāre lucky Iām not alerting the police you know. Do not try this again, you wonāt find the experience rewarding.āĀ

āYou know, yesterday a clown held the door open for me,ā
āI thought it was a nice jester.ā
ā (is it blood or more war paint? the world may never know)
Ā Having studied this womanās face paint before, he could... sort of tell it apart from the other substance on her face. The face paint had a slightly different texture heād noticed, the blood on her face lacked that. Peteās brows furrowed as she wiped away the blood.Ā
Ā Ā He couldnāt judge; heād been in a similar situation more times than he cared to admit. Concern oozed into his gaze as he travelled toward the woman.Ā āAre you okay?ā The question was sincere as Peterās gaze searched her face for any sort of injuries.Ā
Ā Ā āIs that blood or?ā
ā¢
Ā Ā The crowds were eager. For what, Pete wasnāt sure. Not that he really cared. His eyes flicked across the crowds, different people of all kinda brushing past him. Some had strange hairstyles, odd clothes and some were even sheep. Though his attention was drawn to someone else.Ā
Ā Ā He appeared as if he had no interest in what the rest of these people were heading towards. Rather, he was just like Pete, fighting against the flow of the crowd. Unfortunately, the other fellowās travels were cut short as he... fell. For a moment, Pete was rooted to the spot, brows furrowed.
Ā Perhaps he should, ah, help.Ā
Ā Slipping through the crowd, he dodged a few people of his own to stand in front of the fallen figure.Ā āYou have a nice trip?ā Pete joked as he held out his palm for the other.Ā āThe floor canāt be comfortable, take my hand.ā
š
Ā With Peterās noticable lack of abilities as of his arrival in the city, he still hadnāt shook off a few bad habits. One of those being his abilitiy to overestime his abilities. That, ladies and gentleman, was how Peter Parker landed himself nursing a mean black-eye.Ā
Ā It was his own fault. Heād always been told that his puns were annoying but he hadnāt exactly expected to be punched for it. Not when he wasnāt even dressed as his superhero alter-ego. Seriously, who attacked a nice photographer like himself.Ā
Ā Only out of the corner of his eye did he see his neighbour, Hakuno. A somewhat pained smile slipped across his lips.Ā āYou seem to stumble upon me at the worst of moments,ā He teased aloud,Ā āWhy canāt we meet somewhere in a cafe or something.ā

Ā It appeared as though villains occupied even this seemingly peaceful city. Heād been patrolling, though as usual he wasnāt really expecting to find anything. This place was too pleasent, too nice. Sheep ran it, how could anybody terrorize a city run by sheep. Unfortunately, it seemed even Spider-Man could be incredibly naive.Ā
Ā Theyād been trying to rob a convience store and Spidey wasnāt about to have any of that. Heād ran into action, itching to swing and crawl but remembering that such abilities had been hindered. Instead, he fought. Hand to hand, right up until his opponent had pulled a knife.Ā
Ā Ā The fight had gone sour, Pete ending up heavily wounded, though somehow, still managing to knock the criminal unconcious before he slunk away. He didnāt make it far. A nearby alleyway was as far as he could make it. His suit in shreds and his own blood equally blending in with the red on his suit.Ā
Ā Gritting his teeth through the pain, he noticed the stranger far too late as he barely managed to pull his mask off. His back was pressed against the wall, his body a mess and his hair even worse as it stuck up at odd angles. He was barely clinging to conciousness as his eyes met with the womanās. Shit.Ā
Ā For a moment, he made a feeble attempt to stand but was shut down when he shrunk back against the wall. Unable to do much more than frown, he covered the weeping gash on arm.Ā āPlease donāt tell anyone,ā was all the man managed to groan out.Ā
