hi. hello. i’m sunny! 23 and they/them pronouns. this is my independent and highly selective blog for may parker of the spiderman series created by mcu. my portrayal is highly canon divergent and based primarily on headcanons and comics. this blog was originally created in 2018 (i believe) and brought back due to a spark of hatred towards a certain thing in the new movie ( no spoilers obviously ).

my may is a er physician and would prefer to be called dr. parker or just may. she is also a lesbian and this post is VERY relevant to my portrayal. READ THIS ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT MAYS FAMILY DYNAMIC

SHE reaches out, rubbing along his cheek, a soft expression on her face. was she angry at him? yes. but she wouldn’t let him know that. “You won’t.” she replies softly. “You think I blame you for that? Knowing the kind of person Mysterio was?”

River’s too busy enjoying herself to appreciate the irony of kissing a Doctor again - only May Parker’s a licensed medical professional. One hand rests on the small of her back; the other cups her face - thumb languidly caressing her cheek. She nips playfully at her bottom lip. Dr. Parker’s break must be over soon, but River doesn’t care. 

the doctor gently presses her against the wall of the supply closet, an exhale escaping her lips. she knows she needs to get back to the emergency room. but this is just as good in the moment, even if the guilt she will feel later will come back. “we should meet up later. after work.” she whispers against her lips.

Dark eyes narrowed, watching as the woman flinched, the careful movements she made.

“Are you all right?” Otto made to move forwards, but he was acutely aware of several staff members at the shelter watching him. No. Watching out for May. Cured he might be, but his outward appearance was no doubt still troubling.

With a deep sigh to settle his bristling indignation at being deemed a monster to be wary of, the doctor halted and moved back. “I…apologise. For leaving you at the condominium. I was concerned that the inhibitor chip might have been damaged and what risk that would bring. Putting distance between myself and the others seemed like the right thing to do at the time.”

Otto nodded at May. “It would appear I made a miscalculation. What happened?”

she was a bit hesitant when he stepped towards her, automatically stepping back as an abrupt wave of fear gripped her. 

she didn’t know where the fear came from. why she was associating him with the others that had hurt her. he hadn’t hurt her. he had wanted to keep her safe. she could tell just based upon his demeanor now. pressing her lips together, she observes him for a second, pulling away from what she was doing, gesturing for them to go to a quieter spot. 

“I don’t remember. Spiderman was there.” she replies, touching her abdomen once they were in a quieter location. “I remember him being there. and i was hurt. Very hurt. A glider crashed into me. I was DYING.” 

she pauses. “but I didn’t”

“it’s alright sweetheart. I understand.” she crosses her arms over her chest. “it’s finished now. you’re all fixed up.”

quickly he reached out to steady her when she stumbled, she was hurt and he couldn’t tell just how badly. which would have scared him before he’d seen his own may… he swallowed harshly like that would help stuff down his emotions. as if that ever worked. ❝I’m sorry,❞ he said softly. ❝If it seems like I can’t find words, I - I didn’t think I’d see you again.❞

she didn’t think she’d ever see him again. she’s HURT, but not severely and certainly not enough to warrant a visit to the ER. “are you alright?” she gently rubs a finger along his cheek, observing him. she could see the pain in his gaze and it WORRIES her. this might not be HER nephew, but he was still her nephew in another universe.

“hey.” she reaches out to cup his cheeks. “I’ll NEVER be mad at you, alright?”
