I present to the table an AU following "Gardenview" in which it is the name of a cult hosted by Arthur and Delilah for the sake of reviving an ancient eldritch entity. Dandy himself hosts a piece of its soul while the primary mains (Astro, Vee, Sprout, Shelly) are being raised with its ichor in order to mutate them with boons to pursue this goal.

Rodger himself is the main character as a PI who takes on the cold case of a missing associate, one Dyle Timesly, and ends up wrapped up following the lead after the cult he left behind. (Dyle has already been indoctrinated through reasons and methods later explored.)

All the side characters have a role in the world whether big or small such as: Boxten and Poppy being ghost hunters, Glisten going from Vee's errand boy to taking over her position when she goes missing, and the Circus Trio following the cult's quota of spreading their message through fun and cheer.

As for ships the story is conceptualized with Space Documentary in mind, as in FilmNoir, Telescope, and Moonvision all developing independently before merging.

However this does not mean people who take interest shouldn't indulge in their own personal ship explorations! Do have fun with it so long as it isn't anything weird.

Sources of inspiration follow podcasts such as TMA, Badlands Cola, and Malevolent. I am sure other medias served as inspiration but I can't quite recall them at present!
