headcanon / yapping

Some design details I like whenever I see these two drawn is like when people give Sprout and Cosmo a tail (and just as a note I don’t really think many of the other toons really need tails or ears added to them, but I think it fits these two for some reason) though I wouldn’t add the puppy ears some people give Cosmo, (I think it’s cute when other people draw it like that though)

I also flip flop between chubby and like skinny/strong? Cosmo, because I actually like both designs like that. And switch between the ‘silly’ and ‘edgy’ versions of Sprout

though considering how I draw them most of the time, people can probably tell which versions I prefer the majority of the time; personally I think

Sprout- slow to anger except when it comes to people being mean to his friends, better at cooking than baking, would probably show his affection towards people by cooking food for them, because he’s protective of others he tries to take a leader or provider role, very good at remaining calm, I like it when people give him rollerskates as if he’d be a server

Comso - even with his more generous or kind nature, he’s pretty snappy. He’s like that one person you think is all sunshine and rainbows and all of a sudden he’s fighting someone three times his size and winning. Obviously he wouldn’t snap at someone for no reason, wouldn’t start a fight but would finish it. Much stronger than Sprout, Better at baking than cooking,

and I won’t lie some of my headcanons about Cosmo are out of pure spite because I see so much of people making him the like weaker/meeker of the two of them, He’s cis (in my art and aus) and I’m saying that because I know that trans Cosmo is a pretty popular headcanon however so many people use that in a way that just feels like their trying to feminize him, Also because in a LOT of fanfiction it just feels like the trans Cosmo headcanon just serves to make a gay ship ‘straight’ and it feels just transphobic and homophobic in a way I can’t explain (I will say I have seen a few people do Cosmo as a trans character pretty well, I’d do it myself but I don’t think I’d do it justice)

they’re both perfectly comfortable in their masculinity and wouldn’t mind wearing makeup, nail polish, dresses, or whatever.

as a last thing, I actually don’t ship romantic fruitcake a whole bunch (stares at my throuple Looey/Cosmo/Sprout fic that starts with just Sprout/Cosmo), they give off more queer platonic vibes or just really close besties vibes to me.
