LIZA SOBERANO AS MARY JANE WATSON
me, getting chased around my house by a murderer: alexa play whatâs new scooby doo by simple plan
cirruslehnsherr:
âyeah, you look great.â the girl nodded, laying upside down on the otherâs bed. the lehnsherr girl then moved slightly so she could use her phone, swiping left and right with speed. âif thereâs food, make sure you get me some. i have no cash and donât want to live off noodles again.âÂ
âi know, that was the plan,â ruby laughed as she fixed her outfit. thankfully she had a secure enough bra to pull this look off, without it being able to be seen. âdo you know how many bras i went through to get it perfect? too many. i donât know why it has to be difficult to wear strapless and backless.â at cirrisuâs words, ruby rolled her eyes. âyeah yeah, iâll sneak you some of the good stuff.â grabbing the matching red heels from their box, ruby slipped them on. did she need them? probably not, in honesty, but it was for the aesthetic. âare you at least getting any good matches on that thing?â
ruby parker / / jessica rabbit.
gabrielajones:
Gabby looked up from her notes, she was more of a paper person when it came to studying, or reading, even if the ecologist in her didnât exactly agree with killing trees when there was a perfectly valid alternative. âJust a few more weeks.â A few more weeks that would feel like months, probably, but that wasnât very reassuring. âMe?â Yeah, you, idiot, sheâs talking to you. âI want to go to Florida! Maybe a road trip and then end in Disneyworld!"Â
at the simple âfew more weeksâ, rubyâs demeanor brightened instantly. she was practically bouncing off the walls to leave for summer --- it felt as if this school year in particular dragged on for ages. âsweet!!â she grinned lazily, in reply to summer break being soon enough and gabbyâs summer plans. âoh, dude, i would love to go to disney world one day. we should totally do a road trip together, yâknow? maybe even stop along the way at some super cool spots.â she paused, âare there super cool spots on the way to florida? i donât know, iâd have to check. but anyway,â ruby then half-nodded her head in some form of confirmation. âthatâs only if you wanna. or we can road trip somewhere else another time, whatever works.â
brainrhodes:
âThere is not such a thing as a summer break when you are doing your PhD.â Brian commented with a small shrug. âBut I have managed to book an internship in the New York zoo.â Not that he was really fond of zoos but the best way to judge if the animals were happy living there was ask them. âWhat about you? What crazy adventures have you planned? Or are you more the type to stay playing video games all night and sleep all day? Iâm not judging, that is my dream vacation.â
âremind me to never go for my phd then,â ruby dramatically feigned a shudder at the thought of having no breaks. at the mention of a zoo, however, she smiled faintly. she could remember her parents taking her to one or two as a child, and the ever-so-ruby-esque webbing up into trees to get a better view. âthat sounds exciting! i hope you like it. itâd suck major if you didnât.â because whereâs the fun in interning if you end up absolutely hating it? âand i donât know yet, itâs up for debate. maybe iâll go parkour on some bridge i havenât yet.â itâs a personal goal to parkour on as many things as possible --- sheâs done quite a few so far. âbut honestly? playing video games all night and sleeping all day sounds fun too. though knowing me, iâd get myself on an unhealthy diet of coffee to stay up during the day instead.â
joshxfoster:
âyou have worked enough. you need a break or your brain is gonna short circuit.â josh replied almost immediately upon spotting the girl. he had made his way in two big steps and was now looking down at her with a grin that promised fun. âwanna grab ice cream? i heard there is a great place downtown.â yeah, downtown but he purposefully didn't specify which cityâs downtown.Â
âthis is why i like you more,â ruby quickly moved and stood up, placing her laptop into her bag and throwing said bag on her shoulder. she was never one to turn down food of any kind, especially including ice cream. âitâs like you read my mind. this place better be as great as you claim, josh. but, i trust you.â although he encouraged many, if not all, of her stunts ( even giving her some suggestions, more so at the expense of liam ) ruby didnât really have a reason not to trust him. despite what he might say about it otherwise. and his judgement of an ice cream place in an undisclosed downtown location was something sheâd blindly follow through. âyouâre paying, right?â
liamthorson:
Liam raised a brow, pointedly looking at the laptop and rolling his eyes. âLess talking, more work.â He turned back to the email he had been typing. He too was looking forward summer vacation, in way; even if technically he didnât have one â he still gets break from these students. He turned back to look at the young woman. âI do have plans and things I want to do.â He replies without elaborating â knowing he was going to furthermore enable the other into procrastinating. âThe sooner you finish the the sooner you can have your fun.â
rolling her eyes at the usual reply from liam, ruby only huffed. âyouâre no funnnn, liam.â she whined. âwhat are those plans exactly? are you going to asgard? if so, can i come?â it was like twenty questions, only one person firing off every second and not allowing the other to answer until she was done. âwhatâs asgard like, anyway?â though ruby thought about the maleâs words; she knew he was right, the sooner she finished the sooner she could do whatever she wanted. within reason, she could practically hear liamâs voice chide. âokay but,â pulling herself from her slumped, dramatic position, ruby begrudgingly reopened her laptop and pulled up her word doc. page three of six --- half way done. she could totally do this, maybe. âcan we at least order something to eat? like, do you think uber eats would deliver here? âcause they totally should.â

âwhen is it gonna be summer break? iâm so tired of doing all these assignments,â ruby sighed to herself, mumbling and clearly frustrated with the overwhelming work and lack of play. shutting her obnoxiously red laptop, the young girl folded her arms atop it and rested with a pout. âdo you have any summer plans? or like, is there anything you want to do?â she suddenly asked whoever else was in the area, tilting her head to the side to see them.
kcthvrines:
âi am tired of some people judging others for binge watching shows on netflix. why should we feel guilty for slipping into our sweats, eat endless amounts of junk and put on netflix?â katherine hummed with a nod of her head, before smiling softly, âcare to join in on the fun?â
âhonestly!! like, if itâs not hurting you, who really cares?â although ruby was quite active, she certainly enjoyed binge watching and eating junk food. and, at the offer of joining the other girl, she couldnât possibly refuse. âhell yeah, whatâd you have in mind? iâm down for anything, blondie. iâll let you pick the food and the show --- it was your idea, after all.â
Radley: Okay, so like you should go to a screening of Rocky Horror with me

radleysummers:
Radley had been seeing some familiar faces and some not so familiar faces after arriving on campus. She was most comfortable however, in the computer lab. Hearing the hum of the computers was like hearing the calming voice of an old friend. âAh yes, you guys are my best friends,â Radley spun around and spoke to the computers happily. She knew she looked silly, but she didnât really care, until she heard someone opening the door behind her.
even if she wasnât majoring in computer science, ruby still would find herself spending extra time in the computer lab. she always had a knack for technology, even as a kid messing around with codes and number theory. so when she saw ( and heard ) radley affectionately call the computers her best friends, she could understand it. âoh, same,â she drawled out with a good-natured laugh, letting the door shut as she walked over to her usual spot of choice. she had left a textbook under the chair and, unfortunately, needed it back. âi mean, just donât let my flesh-and-blood friends hear that, yeah? i donât want them to get jealous.â it was a quick jest as she managed to slip her book into her bag, before looking back to the other. âglad to see youâre back though, rad.â
