Every weekday at 2:45 I yearn to be dead. Not physically because I do love life. I want to kill the routines, destroy the trivial and live free in the beating heart of the universe. I've made progress in this, just enough progress to make me supremely uncomfortable with my sleepwalking life. I'm currently in that rough place where the old is rapidly becoming unacceptable and unendurable but nothing new has arisen to take its place. And ARGH, just ARGH. There are somethings that are precious beyond precious like my children, my pets, my desire to know the truth of who I am, my essential need to live in harmony with this truth. All that I know right now is that I am not in harmony with this truth, whatever it is, and that dissonance is harsh and feels infinite. The path to enlightenment can be a real bitch.
