North Korean Interiors Looking Suspiciously like a Wes Anderson Film Set
“I stumbled upon a Tumblr today dedicated entirely to pictures of North Korean interiors. Photographer and writer Oliver Wainwright set up the site after he made his first trip to the hermit kingdom and found himself drawn to the Soviet-era fittings, the carefully framed symmetry so often employed in Anderson’s films and that unmistakable “Kindergarten Kitsch”, a term which I find sounds so delightful and sinister at the same time.”

Infinity Room Refik Anadol
‘Infinity’ is an immersive environment project by Refik Anadol. Project is an integral part of artist’s ongoing ‘Temporary Immersive Environment Experiments’ which is a research on audio/visual installations by using the state called immersion which is the state of consciousness where an immersant’s awareness of physical self is transformed by being surrounded in an engrossing environment; often artificial, creating a perception of presence in a non-physical world.

Lucille Clerc
Lucille Clerc is a French Illustrator based in London that works within the field of editorial design and illustration for books and magazines.
As described by the artist: A lot of my personal work is inspired by London, I produce most of my work in silk screen print. All is done by hand, everything is hand drawn, and often the layout is done on site. This way the print is not a reproduction, it is the original.

As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.
