“Um, I guess?” She began to slide her jacket off handing it over to Hermes skeptically.
hermes-eons-just-nutty :
“Then I’d probably be attending to their funerals and be making sure they got proper burials. Then I’d make sure he got a proper burial tool.”
“Wouldn’t you want to go after the guy who did it?”
spots-and-dotts :
“They stayed mostly in Europe,” Dee answered shortly, not wanting to talk any more about her parents. It was already hard enough trying to cut ties with her family - no point in pinpointing who they were. Her cheeks were colored with a faint blush at Spinelli’s words, looking down at her feet shyly. “I… Know what it’s like to not be understood. I wouldn’t want anyone else to ever feel that way.”
“My parents took me from America to Europe so that’s the furthest I’ve ever traveled with them but...they’ve been all over.” She shrugged, though she was mentally kicking herself for talking so much about her family. “I guess that makes sense. I kinda relate.” She shrugged slightly. “Guess that also explains why it’s so easy to open up to you. You won’t judge.” She half joked as she realized that truly was the reason she had no problem talking about pats of her past to Dee.
spots-and-dotts :
“Yes, they did a lot of traveling,” Dee answered, choosing not to mention that more often than not she was dragged along, however. Dee’s eyes widened, a shy smile crossing her face. “Well - thank you very much, I try my hardest to understand where others are coming from.”
“Huh, so did my parents. They’ve been pretty much everywhere at this point, I think.” Spinelli smirked, though she already regretted talking so much about them, knowing how dangerous it could be to say too much. “That’s a great trait I mean...most people just don’t care. And the ones that do well, they don’t try to understand. They just listen.”
the-sonof-odin :
“How you hurt my heart, Just Spinelli,” Thor said holding his heart. He pouted his lips out a bit, just to add to his fake emotional pain. “Your insults could be means of hiding your affection,” he added. “For all I know, you are in denial… Thor Odinson is definitely the most handsome man in New Disney, and every girl wants to date the most handsome man in school. Don’t they? So if you did end up with me, people would be jealous of your amazing luck!”
“I’m sure that the most handsome man in New Disney will get over it.” Spinelli rolled her eyes but smiled. “Sure, sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night. If it helps your little ego, then sure, I’m in denial.” She laughed, trying to wrap her head around the fact that she was actually having this conversation. “Wow and so modest too.” Spinelli spoke dryly and sarcastically. “You’ve got a few problems with that theory. First, I wouldn’t want to date ‘the most handsome man’. Especially just because he’s the most handsome man. Second, even if I did want to date you, which I don’t, it might give me some popularity but it would definitely make you lose some street cred which you don’t need if you’re still trying to become king. And lastly, relationships aren’t about luck, you big dummy. It’s about a mutual connection. Which you wouldn’t understand, because apparently, looks are all that matter, right?”
scareletxhood :
“Maybe that is something I should have learned too. It would be useful like right now when I’m craving s’mores.” Red watched as the flames grew and clapped for her new friend. “It’s great! Alright now it’s time for the big event, Spinelli.” The blonde took out all the ingredients and opened the packaging. “Dig in, there s more than plenty for the two of us.”
“Never too late to learn.” Spinelli shrugged smirking for a moment. “Do you crave s’mores often?” She questioned, dusting herself off for a short moment before smiling at the other female. “Don’t mind if I do.” She reached over taking a few things out of the package. “So tell me, Red. What do you do here? Like, what are you studying?”
hermes-eons-just-nutty :
“Depends what he did.”
“What if he...murdered everyone you’ve ever loved?”
hermes-eons-just-nutty :
“You don’t see me bringing cakes to just everyone or anyone now, do you?” He questioned with a slight wink, giving her a one handed finger gun. “I’ve got mad skills and body that heals pretty easily and quickly.” Hermes laughed. “My mom used to say that I must have died a thousand times, but I annoyed Hades so much that he just keeps sending me back.” He sighed. “It would save a lot of time if I could just pop it back to place on my own. Do you have any leather?”
“I mean, I guess not.” She shrugged, still confused as to why out of everyone she was the kid he decided to care for. Shaking her head though, Spinelli figured this wasn’t the best time to ask about it again. “Your mom is a smart woman. I could definitely see that being the case.” The petite brunette smirked before looking around. “Leather? I mean this jacket is leather but I don’t see how that will help anything...”

spots-and-dotts :
“Oh - that I can understand,” Dee mumbled - though admittedly, she’d often wished her parents’ work kept them away more often. “And of course! You’re allowed to feel however you want about the holidays.”
“Were your parents away for work a lot too?” Spinelli questioned, unsure if she was being too nosy or not. Smiling again though, Spinelli shook her head. “Why are you like, the single most understanding person I’ve ever met?”
elsa-van-helsing-dutchgirl :
“ Well, I did say I wanted something bad to happen, didn’t I? Maybe that’s why I’m doing this.” She spoke more like she was explaining it to herself.
“That’s fair. If anything happens, I’ll remember you fondly.”
clinton-hawkeye-barton :
“Don’t know. Didn’t really care at the time. I just had to take him out.”
“And I’m guessing you did it? Take him out, I mean.”
quake-the-skye-johnson :
Skye nodded, laughing a little. “Yep, stuck until I can figure out how to get out of their eyesight.”
“That’s pretty shitty. Hopefully you don’t totally hate your time here like everyone else seems to, though, you’d probably have a much better reason than everyone else to hate this place.”
hermes-eons-just-nutty :
“Alright, so you kinda give a shit about me, and I care a lot about you. I think it balances out then.” He looked down at his hand again. “Definitely still bleeding and not in the position it should be in. Do you think I could pop it back into place if I hit it on the wall the other way?”
“You care about me a lot?” She questioned making a face. Spinelli knew he cared about her, she just didn’t know it was a lot. “No! Mother fuck, Hermes how have you not killed yourself yet?” The petite brunette shook her head. “I’d much rather let someone who actually knows what they’re doing take care of you.”
scareletxhood :
“Patience. Right. I can do that.” Red said knealing close as she watched. Honestly she was just more than excited to have something sweet after all the waiting and picking up sticks she had been doing. “Hey, you’re pretty good at this, Spinelli.”
Lighting a final piece of paper to really get the fire going, Spinelli sat back for a moment. “Thanks, kid. I learned at a pretty young age. Like I said, I’ve always had a soft spot for burning things.” She chuckled for a short moment as the fire began to grow. “See? Check it out. You’ve got yourself a fire now, little Red.”
spots-and-dotts :
“Your parents wouldn’t be home for Christmas…?” Dee asked, slightly upset by the thought. She’d be lying if she said spending holidays with her parents were comfortable, but she’d never go so far as to wish they weren’t there. “I suppose so… But yes, you most certainly have the right not to be a huge fan of the holidays.”
“Not so much when I was little, but when I got a little older like, high school and stuff they weren’t around much. Not just at Christmas, but in general. Their work kinda got in the way.” Spinelli explained as vaguely as she could. “Well, you’re the first person to actually respect my opinion on the holidays so for that I thank you.”

“We thieves have codes, you know. We’re not trying to ruin this guy’s life, just get some extra cash for ourselves. Or food when we’re desperate enough.”
“What? That’s no fun.” She pouted slightly. “What if the guy was a real dick? Would you ruin his life then?”
