Kaiju Suits!

Pun most certainly intended. ;) This is a fun little project I started shortly before Christmas last year, but I wanted to wait until I had all four made. Obviously, Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, and MechaGodzilla are the spade, heart, club, and diamond, respectively. A part of me wanted the diamond to be Rodan, but I liked the idea of MechaGodzilla more (especially since he literally has diamond-plated armor). And while these designs are intended to evoke the Heisei designs, I intentionally didn’t use any references. Fun fact, the originals are actually graytone sketches! For once, I almost wish I didn’t do them as such, because I thought these would make neat additions to my TeePublic store. But, as you can see, that didn’t stop me from doing so anyway. :D

This Viking sword was found by reindeer hunters at high altitude in the Mountains of Oppland County. It may have belonged to a Viking who lost his way and died here 1100 years ago.
