The Witch scoffs at Corbelโs comment and offers nothing more; she remains focused on the task at hand, which is thinning the horde of Eldritch underlings. An impossible taskโฆ so it may seem. Impossible is a word reserved for those boring, narrow-minded, and lacking creativity โ thereโs always a solution to every problem it just takes a moment or two to find it.
Itโs a bit unnerving to have the idiot and his new โbest friendโ watching her every move. By simply watching a target in silence, one can learn much โ she knows this well. What she needs right now is a diversion, something to take their attention away from her and allow her freedom to truly unleash unholy hell on the battlefield. The less information Lithos gathers of her and her capabilities the better.
Corbel has a few weaknesses she knows of, but one in particular she can exploit with certainty โ his brother, Habit. Cause and effect. With Habit suddenly appearing on the battlefield it will likely cause Corbel to spiral out of control in a fit of rage, which in turn will cause Lithos to correct and regain his control over his tool. This chain reaction with hopefully give her a brief window of opportunity.
โฆOf course, Habit will have to agree to this madness first. She can choke on her pride long enough to beg, right? With a sigh, Regina filters through her feed of voices until she finds the one sheโs looking for.
Her bow is summoned to her hands, an arrow of holy origin already drawn, and she takes aim. After finding an appropriate target, she releases the arrow. She retrieves another arrow, takes aim, and releases. These series of actions are repeated. Most of her focus stays on the battlefield, with small parts of it divided into watching the creep show above her and Habit.
โHabit.โ She calls from the shadows, 'Iโve no reason to ask this of you, but I need your help.โ
Corbel was really none the wiser, merely watching Regina cutting through the army. Or try to anyway. He was all too amused with watching and chuckling, not moving from his spot. They surely had this in the bag.
Deep within the Void, however, there was someone walking on through, keeping mostly to himself with faded, orange eyes looking about. How long had HABIT been walking? Who knows. But he just....didnโt feel right being out of the Void. So when he were to hear a voice from around him, he froze and looked around, trying to find the source of it. Only when he listened, did he recognize who the voice came from.
Regina.
โ...My help?โ He spoke with such uncertainty of what exactly the witch was going to ask for. Sure, he could immediately jump to her aid and help her, but heโs been through hoops like that many times before and boy, he surely was reminded of the one time he did and was nearly killed by Geist. Nope, not having that happen again. But this was Regina and, despite things that happened, she still helped him, and gave him a sort of will to continue on. Wasnโt exactly the best reason for it, but he was curious.
โ...aโight, Iโll bite. Whatcha askinโ fer, Regina?โ
