Try your best friend becoming an unrecognizable monster. Try turning your back on your tribe to save them. To save Hyrule. The world, even. 

Try failing. Try being brainwashed. Try knowing that there’re things you’d done, horrible things, that make your stomach churn and skin crawl. Your morals, everything you stood for, corrupted and stained with blood. Your spirit broken.

Even after victory, everything set the way it’s supposed to be? When the scarred warriors should be able to rest their weary bones?
