“Perhaps I chose the wrong time to take a vacation..” Impa mumbled to herself, sniffling a bit to prevent her nose from running more.

A soft laugh escapes her lips. Hylia wishes she could be there to see it, especially the tongue lashing the soldiers are going to get after Hylia shows her… Well…
“Unfortunately things were as quiet as they could be! We should have a festival to liven things up! Oh, but I guess rebuilding takes up a lot of time. I apologize– I have more free time than many of the citizens here, I suppose,” She’s beginning to ramble because she doesn’t know how to bring up the next topic! Oh this is so awkward! A deity should have tact, but can she really have any tact in this situation? “Well, I wish I could say I just came here to bother you, but…” Hylia’s voice trailed off as she reaches into her sleeve and pulls out a photograph, “I also found this in the massive amount of chests left in the temple. I thought it best to return it to you privately.”
Sitting at her desk in silence for a few moments, Impa began to sift through the new papers that had been turned in turning her absence. They were things like reports on the repairs and things of the like. A smile appeared on her face.
“I would hardly call it unfortunate that things have been quiet. Considering the past several months were filled with nothing but war and destruction, it’s nice to know another battle didn’t erupt in my time away.”
Grabbing a pen and signing some documents, she lifted her gaze as Hylia pulled out a photograph. Raising an eyebrow, she took hold of the photo and brought it close turning it over. Her face turned a brilliant shade of crimson as she stared, stashing it away quickly. “Where did you find this?”
“Oh, um… Well,” She’s suddenly at a loss for words. How awkward it must be to just find someone standing in your office! Hylia scolds herself for being so forward. She’s used to being able to get away with anything since no one would dare question a deity’s motives for being sneaky, but… She can’t do this here. Instead she tries to cover up the awkwardness with her best smile, “It seems the soldiers are playing a prank on you, Impa. I found numerous treasure chests left in the temple and… Well…” She gestures to the giant’s knife she’s skillfully propped up against her desk, “Quite an elaborate prank, no?”
“Well I’ll be sure to scold them.” Impa said with a huff. She leaves for the weekend and the soldiers decide to have some fun. Letting out a sigh, she picked up her blade with ease and leaned it against the wall. She’d take it back to her room later.
“How have things been around here otherwise? Have things been calm? Were there any battles?” Impa inquired, sitting at her desk.
“...Why is there a hole here?”

“Captain! I found your blade stuffed away in a treasure che–Not here again, huh?” Hylia grumbled to herself as her eyes darted around the empty office. The Goddess had tried to visit a couple of times, but each time she came to an empty office. She figured Impa must be busy with soldier duties, but she can’t help but feel a bit lonely.
A yawn escaped the commander as she walked down the hall, heading straight for her office. She had been away from the castle for a few days and was honestly glad to be back, despite having rode all night. Seeing her door open, she blinked for a few moments before heading inside. Her red eyes landed on the blonde female.
“Priestess? What are you doing in my office?”

UPDATE: Hiatus until June 9th!
Hey guys! Sorry for not being around. I've been working a lot these past few weeks, as well as being on OCs, doing stuff for my RP group and just being overall busy. The reason for that is I'm going on a wonderful vacation to visit a bunch of friends for A-kon next weekend! I'm leaving my state on sunday to go down to their state and my return flight is on the 8th. So this hiatus is until the 9th, but since I have 4 blogs to run and a group to oversee, activity will still be spotty. Anyway, i'll be back then. Thanks for understanding, everyone <3 You're all fantastic!
