// TEMP? MOVING TO MERVEIILLES I’ve been dealing with chronic pain over the past couple of months. And a few low activity muses I’m putting onto my Multi to make it easier to manage them. Feel free to follow over there-- or not? It’s your choice.  I might bring his blog back because I do like the idea for it. But it’s just been dead as of late.

“I’ve heard both sayings before, I think they both work.” Lee simply stated for the current moment in time. “I don’t think there’s any reason for anyone to give someone hell for a saying they use. That’s just childish.” The man stated in response to the woman’s words for the moment. He took a moment or two in order to think.

“We all take our own time to learn different things. Nothing wrong with being terrible at spelling.” The man stated with a kind smile on his features, then he heard his door being knocked on all of a sudden. “That must be the pizza, I’ll go get it.” Lee simply stated, going to pay for the pizza and collect it from the delivery driver.

      𝓦hen Lee got up to go answer the door, Shelby clapped her hands together a couple of times happily followed by a quiet “Yay~” She then got up from the chair she was sitting on and made her way back into the kitchen and began to look through the cupboards to try and locate the one that held the dinnerware. Not that she really wanted to actively dig through her friends cupboards, but she felt like being helpful to get some things out while he answered the door.  Once she found the dinnerware, Shelby set the plates down on the counter and then grabbed a couple paper towels just in case the delivery forgot napkins. When she heard Lee return back into the kitchen she spoke up. “Sorry about rummaging through your cupboards, I thought I’d get out some plates.”

      “See my whole bit with askin’ ‘or favors from others is the whole feelin’ like I’m a burden to people. Could be why I usually go with ridin’ my bike or walkin’, askin’ is a last resort.” Of course she would say that last resorts were for winter weather for the most part, after all being out in the rain didn’t cause much trouble. Britain was a rather rainy country and so that wasn’t unusual.

    “𝓘 get that... I’ve had a few friends say that they would take me to go places because I don’t drive. And I just feel bad for asking. I usually offer to get them a coffee or a hot drink of sorts, maybe a snack or even meal if we’re out long enough. Or pay for gas. So, in a sense it kind of evens itself out.” Shelby gave a small shrug of her shoulders toward the latter of her words.

Some shit you’d binge on Hulu or somethin’, y'know?  ❜

     “𝓦hy don’t you give it a try then?” It might be a long shot, but writing a pilot for a show could be entertaining and who knows, it might get picked up if you try hard enough. “Sure it might not be done in a couple of hours, but it would be neat if it did get picked up. You could so to say-- set things right.”

“Yeah, if only one could simply teleport there takeout food home straight away after it was finished. That would be a solution for any food that is unpleasant when cold. If only.” Though both him and his daughter knew that such a thing was a possibility, but the other might not though. “Luckily most things I’ve ever eaten have tasted alright cold.”

“Hm, I wouldn’t know. That’s not my area of expertise. Though I have never noticed any difference in my food, regardless of what the weather was.” The man simply stated in response to the woman’s words for the current moment in time while briefly shrugging his shoulders for a moment or two. “We do sometimes find something to blame, it’s natural.”

       “𝓑laming the weather on something not working could really just be an old wives tale.” Shelby pursed her lips after she spoke before continuing. “Speaking of which, I always thought for the longest time that it was actually old wise tale-- and not wives-- the two sound very similar. Unless I’m wrong. But I think it could be used either way if people don’t get uppity about my misinterpreted lingo.” She gave a small shrug of her shoulders, brushing off the worries of using the wrong word for majority of her life up to a few years ago. “It wouldn’t be the first time though... I’m terrible at spelling too-- honestly, I just learned how to spell schedule. I struggled with that one for ages.”

     “𝓘t’s even more fun when there’s a toxic ship involved and everyone is like oh my god they’re so good for one another-- and I’m over here like-- they’re literally the worst for one another. There’s this one show I just had to stop watching because I couldn’t stand the ship anymore and then they tossed a pregnancy scare into the mix-- no thanks, fam.” Shelby rolled her eyes. “I don’t know what some show writers are thinking these days.”
