Axis Mundi

After reading Eliade's "Shamanism: Archaic Techniques of Ecstasy", I realized how many similar motifs appear in my dreams and throughout my entire life to those described in the book.

Right after that I had a dream about a huge coniferous tree, on which large eagles were sitting and watching me - the same ones I had encountered before many times in dreams.
