Not even sure what to say about this one other than it's a mess from start to finish. It feels pretty transparently like an attempt to capitalise on the success and cultural legacy of Quest for Fire five years earlier, but Michael Chapman is no Jean-Jacques Annaud. It's clunky, misogynistic, and the worst thing cinema can be - boring. 2/10.

I can't take it serious that they nicknamed the security guard in the lost boys "big Ed" because that was one of Edmund Kemper's nicknames. Ya know the serial killer, r*pist, cannibalistic necrophiliac? Aka the co-ed killer.

After his release on patrol at 21 he hoped to join the Santa Cruz police force, but was rejected because of his height (6'9/2.06) hence the nickname. They definitely did that on purpose lmao.
