Thank you for giving me an excuse to draw peepers clinging to things. People like you are the real heroes.
Also taking a moment to bring this drawing back to the forefront because itās a favorite of mine.
In an act of egregious censorship and revisionism, because it was bothering me, I've gone through this blog and replaced any instance of 'heck' I could find with an appropriate 'Hell' or 'Fuck'.
Do let me know if I missed any-
Ok I'm last anon just to say I never realized even tho I followed both blogs that the person behind them were the same- I been following this blog for years now and it never clicked in my brain!
Man I'm a huge dummy lmao
Your art is so good, like, I find such beauty even in the more dirty lines and how they flow together, your line work is so good even back then! Blooming with personality, no- exploding! The colors you use now are so nice to see, sometimes you can see where you started drawing and where you ended and that's so pretty to look at even if it's not a full piece, kinda wished I said more on the original ask but eh, no time like the present.
Haha! Funny how that works out. I don't know if it's any consolation, but people have told me that before. So at least you're not alone...
As always, I do really appreciate to hear that people like the way I draw. What you've described--these are all things I enjoy most in a drawing when I'm looking at works by others. So, I'm glad.
Encountered while listening to hour-long hardcore & gabber mixes, as Iām wont to do. Hereās one for your character playlists
Actually... Here, take these too
from 2020
āR.I.P. OLD FRIENDS MEMORIAL CONCERTā did make me laugh a bit....
Iām staying at my parentsā place for a while & have been going through a lot of files on my old computer. Theyāre very unorganized and messy! not unlike the drawings themselves...
I donāt know if theseāll be interesting, theyāre a lot of pasta lines mostly, but I found a bunch of these drawings from 2016. From the looks of things, Ā I think I mustāve had some ideas I was kicking around but never did anything with? As always with my doodles, it was for my own amusement so I never cared much for coherency. Even from my own point of view now, itās like: āI wonder what this person was thinking? Were they OK, to have drawn So much of this?ā
I also donāt know which of these Iāve already posted in some form or another, so apologies if thereās any repeats~
No idea if this blog is dead or alive, but I want to say thank you for all the art shared here. Your art style is kickass and the tactile nature of the topics is very comforting and interesting to look at and also thought provoking. You da bomb, best wishes to you.
Hello, thanks!
Hm.. yeah I guess this blog's pretty much over. It was a lot of fun, but it's hard to stay passionate about something I was into 5-7 years ago. Ran out of ideas after a while, y'know
It's very cool when people still resonate with these all this time later though. Glad you're having fun!
It's very kind of you to say my art is thought-provoking. I always put a lot of thought & care into how I approach these kinds of drawings, but usually I don't bother to explain it so I always wonder what actually comes across in the final product. haha!
Best wishes to you as well
idk if you'll see this, and not to come off too sincere out of nowhere, but i want to thank you for keeping this blog up. i still think about your peepers art pretty often (like, every time i revisit the show, which is usually once or twice a year) and a lot of the work on this blog is among my favorite art i've ever seen on the internet. really inspiring stuff. i hope you're doing well for yourself!
kind of ya!
I'm doing well. I've gotten really into prog rock lately.
Peepers was always my favorite. I realize I didn't draw as much of him by the end of this blog's run... (dominator was a better vessel for how I was feeling at the time, I suppose?) And so. Here's some sketches I did today. for the peeperfans, here's a peeper festa
these were in drafts from some years ago
Drew these quickly while reminiscing on the WOY times.
Itās been so long since the last time I latched onto good, aggressive characters. So long since a consensual(?) stabbing
Your Wander and Simpsons art delights, intrigues and terrifies me, so I have to ask: Ever drawn any Futurama characters?
Strangely, I never felt like I needed to
I guess you could say that video was the...Ā
