The first time Dean puts on a leotard, he feels powerful. Powerful and vulnerable. An odd combination struggling inside him. Neither winning for long before the other pops up again to take over.

At first he wears it in his bedroom–his and Sam’s–but only when his little brother isn’t there. He poses in front of the mirror, checking out the way the tight fabric fits around his skin. Outlines his muscles. He’s always appreciated a good tight outfit on masculine bodies and he can’t deny that it looks good on his too.

That doesn’t mean that he dares wear the leotard in front of anyone else. That is, until one brave day when he decides ‘fuck it’ and puts it on for ballet class. 

Convincing Sam to start ballet class when they moved to Baltimore for this job was the best thing Dean ever did. Okay, maybe second best, after getting Baby. But top five at least. And he could stick Sam with the job of letting dad know they’re taking ballet classes. Miraculously, that seemed to have gone well. John never made any comments about it, at least, so Dean assumes it went well.
