CHALLENGE CHAOS MONTH - MAY 2020

What is this?

Since we’re all being sensible and saying at home, for this month all of the challenges that I admin will participate in a chaos month. There are thirty one prompts per challenge, each related to their distinct themes.

How do I enter?

Just make one or more creations featuring one of the prompts below by May 31st. No need to sign up or send an ask for this month! Tag your work with #spncolors so I can find it!

Announcement - Apr 2020

Due to the necessary measures implemented by most of the world regarding quarantine and self-isolation, it’s important more than ever to keep ourselves occupied and mentally healthy, therefore we should all do our part.

For that reason, two new temporary measures have been implemented on the challenges I admin going forward:

This month’s deadline is extended to May 31st. This is partially because I was late and also because I know that people will be struggling creatively with household interruptions/going stir crazy from being stuck indoors. I’d still love to have all of you make something if you still want to - your creations make my day a little less dull.

CHALLENGE CHAOS MONTH. In May, the challenges will all have a list of thirty-one prompts, all relevant to their categories (the song challenge will have song prompts, etc.) . There is no need to sign up. Just make as many things as you want. The list will go live towards the end of April so you can get a look at it.

I hope you’re all healthy (mentally, physically, emotionally), and that you’re doing the best you can be in this trying time. I know that you’ve all made running these challenges a wonderful experience for me personally, and I can’t wait to see how things progress going forward.

A/N: Late entry written for @spncolorchallenge​. I have to thank my wonderful beta @littlegreenplasticsoldier​ for making this readable. Bro, you’re awesome for helping me out with this. This fic kinda jumps around to different times/scenes so things are separated by dashes and in line indents. Thanks for reading :)

It had been three weeks to the day since John had last heard from you, and your radio silence didn’t sit well with him. He had taken you under his wing, way back when; saved you from some handsy asshole that had ruined John’s view of your electric smile and beautiful face while you leaned against the bar. Good thing, too, because the bastard ended up being a shapeshifter who came after you and met his end at John’s hands. As he eased you into it and told you the truth about the world, John saw a spark in your eyes. He half-hoped it would be for him. After all, ‘damsels’ had thanked him in special ways every now and then, but the way it flickered and grew was all too familiar. It was the same one that he’d seen in the mirror after Missouri had told him the truth about Mary. He could have warned you to not get involved until he was blue in the face, but it would have been wasted breath.

Title: Maybe

Characters: John x Reader, Dean x Reader, Sam. 

Warnings: Angst, character death, angst. 

Word Count: 1.1k

A/N: Written for the @spncolorchallenge​​​. I think I was only supposed to use one but I used them all. No clue where this angsty shit came from so sorry for the feels. If it makes you feel any better, I punched myself in the face with them, too. Betad by @samsexualdeancurious​.  

The hues dancing on the sunset don’t match the emotions in their eyes.

Light swirls of purple and rays of golden yellow fuse with vibrant orange and various shades of blue in the sky above you. The sunset is beauty incarnate but the wrath in John’s dark eyes overpowers such serene skies.

A red hue is spread through the freckles on Dean’s cheeks, those glittering green eyes glowing in the last rays of sunlight as they stare each other down.
