Give Me Love || Spot & Wanda
Wanda nodded heartily, and swung herself around to flop onto his couch. The seat was slightly warm, and she couldn’t help marveling at it for a moment. She ran her hands over the material while staring up at him, trying to remember what she was going to say. “Hi,” She started, breaking down into giggles.
“I am sorry, sorry. I mean I would like to know what do you plan to do for this evening?” Yes, that’s what she was trying to say.
Watching as Wanda flopped down to the couch, her arms loosely catching herself, and her mind trailing off to another place. He cursed himself for not noticing the moment she stood before him, she had been drinking. Spot didn’t say anything on the matter, he allowed the girl to run her hands over the couch in the room, her laugh gently bubbling through her lips.
“I plan on staying in, play guitar.” He smiled a little more gently this time, reaching across to grab the guitar from the couch the bright eyed girl sat at, but instead sitting on the arm chair across from her. “You had plan?”
Give Me Love || Spot & Wanda
Wanda knocked on Spot’s door, feeling sightly apprehensive. She had promised to call the night before, but had decided not to. Even though the alcohol on her breath was making her tipsy and happy she thought now was the best time to talk.
“Give a little time to me?”
spontaneous-spot
Spot had found himself in the usual position on the couch, his legs cross, a box of yesterdays vegan pizza curtesy of his room mate still on the table in front of him, and a guitar in his hand which he strummed ever so gently. The knock on the door wasn’t a surprise, figuring it was just Gar leaving his keys behind, once again. But as he lifted himself from the seat, making his way through the orange tinted room, he was the slightest bit surprised to see Wanda. “You have all time in world,” he spoke, yet couldn’t help notice the difference in the girl. “You come in?”
“Well I’m the kind of lady who does what she wants so this gentleman may need to accept that.” Patsy lifted her chin with a challenge. She didn’t label herself a feminist, but she did think that women and men were equal. That said she liked to pay on a date about 30% of the time.
“I do. Patsy Walker. Do you?”
A wide smile spread across the childish man’s lips, as he stifled back a gentle laugh that tempted bubble past his lips. “Good, it a horrible thing to listen to others. Doing only what other say, it boring.” Falling into step beside the bright girl, he found a nod to his head. After all everyone had a name, his may not have been the one he was born with, but it was just as much his as any other. Besides, Johnathan was such a dull name.
“I do,” He exclaimed with every bit of excitement in his voice. “Are you able to guess?”
Daring with the Dark || Raven & Spot
Raven of course should have known and she blushed lightly. She tried to recover with a simple nod as she let Spot lead her by the hand past two sections of the library. Where were they going now? she asked herself inwardly.
The boy continued to lead Raven through the library, his steps as quiet as ever although a gentle laugh was heard through his lips. Sunlight that began to trickle through the windows managed to be warmer than any back at the academy, and it was barley even in the sky yet. “Here,” Spot finally spoke once more, allowing Raven’s hand to be set free. “You would like section.”
thehellishcat:
Weariness faded and in its place bloomed flattery. A smile curled Patsy’s mouth and she brought her hand from his sleeve to her hip.
“Turn about’s fair play, do I get to pay for you next time?”
“A gentleman should not let you pay,” As Spot spoke he began walking towards the school gates, his dark eyes never leaving the bright girl beside him. “Have you got name?”
· · · James rolled his eyes slightly as he heard the man’s whisper. He simply wanted to be alone, but even in his own room he would’ve been disturbed. The higher up’s voice rang in his head, he needed to blend in, but blending was difficult when all you knew was your own little world.·“I was not staring at anyone,” he simply said as he closed his notebook.
· · · There was a gentle laugh at Spot’s lips as he found himself leaning across the table in search for where the boy’s eyes rested just moments ago.·“It is her, is it not?” As he asked, his hand lifted from the table pointing to a group of students that gathered around whispering amongst themselves.·“She is awful pretty, I not surprised it was her. Not everyone like that brooding look though, personally I think it alright, but maybe she not.”
Simply Coincidence || Wanda & Spot
somethingwandathiswaycomes:
Wanda wouldn’t agree, she shouldn’t–except….He was kind, and funny, and incredibly understanding. So why wasn’t she saying yes? It could be the best thing for her, and she wouldn’t even know unless she tried, so the only option was to jump right in and to hell with the consequences.
She smiled up at him, the expression reaching her eyes this time, and nodded emphatically. “I think–I think that would good, yes. I would like that.”
As the nod came to Wanda’s head, the boy found himself pulling her closer to him before leaving a gentle kiss on her lips. He didn’t allow himself to wonder why it was that he was so insistent on loving someone else, why he was so certain he wanted to show others just how much they meant to someone else. Spot didn’t dare think far enough into any of his actions to understand why he did anything, but deep down he knew it was because they were the few things in life he knew he’d never have himself.
Leaving kiss after kiss on the girl’s delicate skin, allowing his hands to wrap around her, allowed her to feel safe and secure. He’d find himself longing for what he gave away more and more.
Patsy reached out for the sleeve of someone passing by.
“If you’ll direct to coffee I’ll pay. Deal?”
The initial tug of his sleeve caught the man the slightest bit off guard, halting him in his tracks turning to meet the delicate face of the girl who spoke. “With eyes so pretty, I will direct you and pay.”
· · · · · ·James thought it was absolutely ridiculous to be trained by people less qualified than him. He knew every possible technique and he had also taught his fair amount of students. Apparently he had to blend in, he couldn’t just terrorize the academy in one day. It needed planning unlike the assassination of hundreds of people, that was his job. HYDRA gave him the necessary tools to blend in, to become a teenager once again, but he didn’t what it took. He studied teenagers and their thoughts but he had yet to blend in. Instead he sat at a table reading over his notes which were disguised as a black journal, they supplied him with all he needed to know. The room was chilly, nothing he wasn’t used to. He adjusted his jacket and gloves, mostly to cover his metallic limb as he looked up at the small crowd in the room.
· · · · ·It wasn’t often that Spot found himself in the library, with solid brick walls that always seemed to hold too small of an area, the lack of natural light that would find it’s way in, and the constant way that no matter how many people were in the room with you, there was always the feeling of being complete and utterly alone. Between the hushed whispered, and the gentle shuffling of shoes against the floor, he just walked through, head watching the floor and each step he took before he reached the table seating the boy who was lost in his own world. “If you want to talk to girl, it usually best not just to stare at her.”
Daring with the Dark || Raven & Spot
tealeavesandtomes:
Raven’s stomach felt quesy, she’d felt as if there had been some kind of decent happening around her but Spot had never wavered. There was never a moment when he’d seemed unsteady. She had waited readily to open her eyes and now that they were open she could not believe them. How? How are we here?” she asked she turned full circle to take in the splendour of the empty library illuminated by low lights. The sight took Raven’s breath away as she turned her gaze back to Spot expectantly for an answer.
The childish man that stood in the middle of the room didn’t want to look around, he didn’t want to look at the books that lined the shelves, or the way the gentle lighting illuminated it. He didn’t want to look around at the solid walls that didn’t allow a window for the glimpse of light, he didn’t want to look at the wonder that surrounded them. Instead Spot just stared at Raven, the way her dark eyes widened, and her delicate lips parted in awe. He just watched the marvel that spread across her face, and the question that her expression asked as she turned back to meet his eyes.
But he didn’t offer any answer, instead just a bright grin and a tug of her hand as he lead her towards the shelves. “You must be quiet,” He whispered yet his rusty voice still carried, “We not allowed to be here.”
Simply Coincidence || Wanda & Spot
“I…I do not know what I want…. I think I would like this. You are nice –and funny– but I am not sure of what you want?” Wanda huffed out a sigh at herself for being so unable to express her feelings, especially at a time like this. She slowly reached for the hand he had placed on her arm, not quite holding it, only hovering over it as if worried touching him might scare him away.
Wanda took a deep breath, hoping to gather her thoughts, but the words just tumbled out anyway.
“What is it that you want, then? I do not think is me,”
It had never failed him before, his automatic reaction to lean back on loving the person, the trait he’ll never quite be able to shake. He was sure he knew what to say to a person, he was sure he knew how to make it all better with a bright smile, and pulling them into his arms. Protecting them, loving them.
But looking back to Wanda, he had never quite seen someone act so conflicted towards him. So torn with the thought of love. “Everyone want love, everyone want to be in someone arms, to be safe from this big world.”
As Spot spoke, his hands pulled Wanda closer to him as her breaths came steady. “I do want you, not forever. But for now. Can I love you?”
Simply Coincidence || Wanda & Spot
somethingwandathiswaycomes:
“Okay.” Wanda whispered back, not trusting her voice to hold if she spoke louder. It was one thing to kiss a boy, it was another to have him kiss her. She felt both shocked and confused, and a part of her was spinning back to that awful night her parents died, to the only other boy who had ever kissed her without asking and ended up dead because of it, but she wasn’t upset. She had actually kind of enjoyed it. “You are beautiful, too,” Wanda told him. It was true, after all.
Spot bought the smile across his face once more, although as he looked back to the girl so broken in front of him, he wasn’t quite sure how much of it would hold. He was for once lost for his next movement in a field he often knew so well. And so he lent in once more, gently pressing his lips to her cheek, as a hand reached for comfort against her arm.
“Do you not want this?”
Daring with the Dark || Raven & Spot
tealeavesandtomes:
Spot was a mystery at times to Raven. She nodded, and did as he asked. Closing her eyes she noted the darkness of the room an the little bit of space between them and after the kiss she didn’t quite no what to think about the situation. “Spot” she started to say but she didn’t quite know how to finish so his name just hung on her lips.
There was just a moment silence after Raven whispered his name, there was no reply, no words hovering on the tip of his tongue. Just the damp night air, and his name resting in the dark of it. That was when he took her hand, leading her closer with every inching step to the dark portal he placed on the ground. One step in and a sinking sensation drifting through them, as if they were falling never to stop. But they weren’t falling, they were just being led through the pure white world corrupt with the dark splotches that danced around them, moving with a weight of their own.
Taking her through one more portal, leaving the world and out into the early morning light. They had landed at the Vatican Library. “Alright,” Spot lent in, his words gentle across his lips, “You can open your eyes now.”
mercurixlly:
“Your optimism is obnoxious,” Pietro said, but it lacked heat. If anything, he appreciated Spot’s quiet surety; it was a soothing counterpoint to Pietro’s high-strung nature. Still, he wasn’t able to completely calm himself until after locating the path back to campus (which he accomplished through the miraculous fact of trial-and-error on fast forward). Without missing a beat, he was back. “Fine
–and if school burns down in our absence, they can at least not blame us, right?” Pietro kicked around in the dirt, gathering together likely looking sticks. If they were spending the night outdoors, there would be a bonfire.
It was barley a flutter of his eyelids, a blink of an eye and it seemed like Pietro was gone one second and there the next. There was the slight look of confusion washed across Spot’s face as he just drew in a deep breath of air through his lungs, and left the question resting on the tip of his tongue. “Fine!” But his face lit up the moment the words left his mouth, it was fine. They were going to sleep out here the night, looking up to the wide sky that rest cloaked them in darkness, and out where the gentle wind can wrap around them.
“Who say they would blame us in place first?” Joining in the hunt for sticks to gather in a pile beside them, he looked for the subtle conversation to fill their silence with. “You do this much? I mean, not at academy, but before.”
Simply Coincidence || Wanda & Spot
somethingwandathiswaycomes:
Wanda blinked at him morosely. Her stomach felt like stone, and her heartbeat was resonating in her ears, which was both new and unpleasant a sensation. Although she wanted to, she couldn’t find it in herself to smile back. “Why…?”
It was the look that washed across the girl’s face, the one that seemed to sink his own smile even in the slightest. Confusion wasn’t the right word, although at that moment it was the best word Spot could think of. But he wasn’t going to make it worse, he wasn’t going to let her think that he only did this because of some silly game. And so leaning in the slightest, the boy moved his lips till they whispered in Wanda’s ear and found the words leaving them, “Because you beautiful.”
Dull Day || Shiva & Spot
shiva-become-death:
“But I wanted it to be,” she raised one shoulder in a halfhearted shrug, “and I like to do as I please.”
“Is there a reason for all this meaningless pensive thought, thinking about chipmunks and folding paper and…” Shiva rotated her wrist, prompting Spot to finish her thought.
“Accidental death,” He spoke with the accent thick on his voice, and a gentle shrug to his shoulders. But today was one of those few times where thoughts were swimming around in Spot’s mind, one of those times where too much was going on that all he could think to do, was talk of nothing that mattered. “Would not say meaningless,” Distraction from the thoughts he had. “Directionless though, maybe no necessary.”
