Hey y'all, thought I'd create a Masterpost

My name's SpontStingray! Pronouns are he/him/and his, and I'm old enough to remember when you weren't supposed to give out your age online. As the name suggests, I love stingrays! I am also a fanfic author whose brain has been rotting on South Park for the past couple of years.

My Tumblr Husband (and all-around favorite human being) is the one and only @c00pswhore!

I also love learning about film history, specifically early animation, silent films, and the pre-code era. I also occasionally reblog posts about old film on here too.

The more I think about it, the more I like episode 9 of TADC.

It did everything it needed to do. It wrapped up all the plot lines while adding something new that gives it rewatch value.

It is not the best TV show episode. It isn't even the best TV show episode I've ever watched, but it was great for what it was. For the finale of an indie show that blew up far beyond what anyone could have imagined, it was really good.

As far as we know, there is nothing that warrants this, but we have no details on what caused this.

All information on the file is provided by volunteers, the form doesn't ask for personal information, and edits and deletions can be requested via asks and submissions (no account needed).

We are discussing options and will update as the situation evolves.

Thank you all for the heads up and so sorry this happened! The beta file has played such an important role in my fandom and life journey. Sad to it go (for now) and thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into it.

Grace tells Rocky jokingly that he thought his message (blip B) was a bomb, and Rocky is genuinely confused because why would Rocky throw a bomb at Grace ship, question. And Grace tries to explain that back on Earth people are afraid of aliens and consider them a threat (which is weird, now that he thinks about it, because at the same time people have been desperately looking for any sign of alien life for decades. That's exactly why he's here). And Rocky is even more confused because why consider someone a threat if people have not even met them, and Rocky would never hurt anyone. Universe is one, and everyone is a friend.

And Grace thinks about this conversation a lot.

One thing I love in the phm book is when rocky is explaining how old he is and how long he's been in space for and while being amazed grace is also like "wait so this is EARTH units right like you're literally 291 EARTH YEARS old?!" and rocky's just casually like yeah you're shit at maths so I convert everything to your weird units now you're welcome
