Its kinda of odd that anthem doesnt have an official Playlist for its eps , even when all the other campaigns (major and mini ones) do.... 🤔 its makes it harder (well, just more annoying, specifically) to track down the eps to watch in order... overture (its precurser) got a Playlist, so why not anthem...?? like it does for the podcast versions, but not the visual stream versions,,,,

started listening out of pure boredom and curiosity (i was intrigued by Lethica’s character design) and i lowkey like Edge of Midnight better than Once Upon a Witchlight? idk three episodes in and it’s just way easier to listen to. i could never hope to listen to 3 episodes of Witchlight in a day, but 3 episodes of EoM felt perfectly fine (i could go for 4)

plus the episode count is way less intimidating. it feels almost impossible for me to catch up on Witchlight because there’s so many episodes, they’re so long, and i can only listen to about half of an episode to one episode a day. but EoM is so much shorter that I feel like I can actually listen to the whole thing.

also i lowkey like the characters better. as much as i love the Krew i can’t exactly pick a favorite because they all register more or less the same to me. but so far I love everyone in the EoM gang for lots of different reasons (although Jericho and Marius are currently taking the top spots). i also feel like the characters play off of each other a bit better in roleplay?

i might have also been trying to force myself into liking Witchlight? like it’s fun, and i do like it, but it’s their most iconic campaign (in my opinion) and i felt like I HAD to listen to it to consider myself as part of the avantris fandom, and also didn’t really let myself listen to any of the other campaigns

#you’re so real for this no worries #ouaw is their most popular campaign and what got me into Avantris but like #after catching up with the rest of their main campaigns #(minus prime bc im just starting it and the Patreon exclusives)#ouaw is now my personal least fav out of them all and eom is my top fav #the lore and characters just hit sm harder in their serious campaigns #and they especially resonate with me in eom #I’ll always have a soft spot for witchlight and keep up with it #but tbh if it wasn’t my first campaign of theirs and I started with one of their serious ones first I probably would have dropped it #hope you continue to enjoy eom!!#it’s a wild ride
