Creepy Movie Review - Démoni/Demons (1985)

I’m finally back with a new review! This movie was suggested by my good friend Ashley who works at the local horror b-movie store! She couldn’t watch most of it because she was too scared but we had a blast watching it nonetheless!

Fast paced, spoiler free! 〔´∇｀〕

Démoni is an italian horror movie from the 80s, waaaay before i was born! ٩(●ᴗ●)۶ Most of the marketing throws around Dario Argento’s name a lot (which is a well renowned italian horror director) despite the fact that he just wrote the script (the actual director is Lamberto Bava, who also did Blastfighter and Delirium). And let me tell you, it shows that it’s written by Argento! (｀ε´) He has a thing for plots that make noo sense if you think about them for even one millisecond!

(つ >ω●)つ Despite that, this movie was so fun! The plot is just an excuse for really spooky stuff and amazing gore effects! The action gets really really good in the second half and the whole aesthetic of the movie screams 80s metal/punk!

The general jist of the plot is that a bunch of people are invited to a movie theater for a private showing of a new movie but they get stuck inside and strange spookness happens! (⊃‿⊂)

People who want a good story or interesting characters will probably be disappointed （´＿｀） but if you’re in for a really fun and entertaining experience, you’ll have a great time!

My score is 8 skulls out of 10! (ᗒᗨᗕ) It’s even more enjoyable with a group of friends! I usually don’t drink but getting drunk all together probably makes the experience even funnier!

HEY as a horror movie fan how'd you take the recent passing of Sid Haig, AKA Captain Spaulding from those Rob Zombie films?

That actually hit me hard! He was pretty old but it’s a sad news nonetheless... (◕︿◕✿)

I-I think it’s a good excuse to watch House of the 1000 Corpses again (T⌓T)

Do you think Vampires stay away from Italy?

My research indicates that Italians tend to use Garlic for a lot of their dishes! (○o○)

That would explain why i haven’t heard stories of italian vampires!

I’d love to go around town to investigate the weird stuff that happens in these places! (　･`ω･´) I’ve already ben to Riverside Port a bunch since i was a kid but i haven’t been able to even get a glimpse of the Devil’s tail... (◕︿◕✿) not yet at least!

Some places might be dangerous tho’, like the Corn Field. I’d love to have a partner in my investigations...

Never been to the Convent tho’, doesn’t seem like an interesting place!

Creepy Movie Review - IT CHAPTER TWO (2019)

It’s finally time for one my most anticipated movies of the year! (ᗒᗨᗕ) If you know me you’ll know that i LOVED the first one despite some minor issues!

So what about this one? Does it work?? ۹(ÒہÓ)۶

Yes and no! But mostly yes!

Fast paced, spoiler free! 〔´∇｀〕

Really liked it but feels less solid than the first one! Scares are not as scary, pacing is weird sometimes and there’s an entire middle section that gets too formulaic and predictable and boring that unfortunately makes the movie drag a bit (THIS MOVIE IS 2.40 HOURS LONG (ﾉ｀□´)ﾉ⌒┻━┻).

But those are all the issues, seriously! The rest worked really well for me! (ง `ω´)۶

Casting is top notch, the way they remade scenes from the original worked really well and the ending is a lot more satisfying! It feels like a proper conclusion. ( ˘ ³˘)

If i had to give it a score i’d give it 7 skulls out of 10! (ᗒᗨᗕ) Go grab some friends and have a good time!

Dunnsmouth - Massachusetts

First thing, i wanted to introduce you guys to my hometown: Dunnsmouth! 

(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و Here’s the map!

It was founded in the 1600s by French colonists and thanks to how close it is to the Atlantic coast and the HUUGE (・о・) amount of rivers in the area, fur trading, farming and boat manufacturing became the most important things the city was known for.

(／‵Д′)／~ ╧╧ BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT WE’RE HERE FOR! Dunnsmouth is one of the most haunted cities on the East Coast! Ever since it’s been founded, weird things have been happening in the city! From strange disappearences to weird spooky haunted places, like the Bangor Manor or Riverside port! 

(/ω＼) Sightings of weird monsters are a thing that is STILL happening today!

Which is why i decided to get to the bottom of this and discover what secret this town is hiding! ( • ̀ω•́  )✧
