READ CHAPTER TWO HERE.
Chapter Three: Lines Were Almost Crossed.
Chris’s room smelled like his cologne—clean, sharp, with a warm undertone you pretended not to notice. He was standing in front of his mirror, tugging a black shirt down over his torso, tattoos peeking out from under his sleeve. His hair was damp from a shower, sticking up in messy tufts. He looked every bit the cocky hockey player your brother warned you about.
Which made you want to bother him even more.
“You’re going out?” you asked, leaning on his doorframe like you owned the place.
“Yeah.” He adjusted his watch, glancing at you in the reflection with a smirk. “Teammate’s party.”
You tilted your head. “Cool. What time are we leaving?”
Chris’s brows rose. “We?”
“Yeah.” You stepped into the room, crossing your arms. “I live here now, remember? Can’t just leave me stranded all the time.”
He turned, giving you a once-over, his grin maddening. “Not happening, Bun.”
“Why not?” you pressed, pouting.
“Because.” He shoved his wallet in his back pocket, casual. “You’re not ready for that scene.”
“That’s sexist,” you shot back.
“That’s accurate,” he said, smirking.
You rolled your eyes and sauntered closer, brushing your fingers lightly along his dresser before “accidentally” grazing his arm as you passed. His muscles flexed under your touch, and for a second, he actually froze.
“Come on, Chris,” you teased, stepping in front of him. “You’re supposed to be watching me, right? What better way than keeping me by your side?”
His jaw worked, but his smirk didn’t falter. “You think you can handle a hockey party?”
“Maybe I want you to teach me,” you said softly, testing him.
His eyes darkened, just for a second, before he scoffed and tried to walk past. You blocked him, fingers sliding lightly across his chest as if you were just steadying yourself. His shirt was still warm from the dryer, the faint heat of his skin beneath it enough to make your pulse jump.
He caught your hand, holding it still against him. “Careful, Bun.”
You looked up at him with your sweetest smile. “Please? Just this once?”
Chris cursed under his breath and let go, raking his hands down his face. “You’re a pain in the ass, you know that?”
“Mhmm.” You grinned in victory. “So that’s a yes?”
He shook his head but grabbed his keys anyway. “Stay by me, got it?”
“Got it,” you sang, already grabbing your jacket.
—
The party was chaos from the second you walked in—bass thumping, lights strobing, bodies pressed together in the living room. Chris slipped into the crowd easily, slapping backs, clapping hands, grinning when girls whispered in his ear. Each one made something twist uncomfortably in your stomach.
You told yourself you didn’t care. You told yourself you weren’t watching him too closely, weren’t annoyed at the way he laughed with them like it was the easiest thing in the world.
So you drifted off a little, sipping your drink.
That’s when he showed up.
Some random guy with a smug smile, leaning against the wall beside you. “Didn’t know Chris had such a cute roommate,” he said, eyes dropping over your outfit.
You straightened, instantly on edge. “I’m fine, thanks.”
But he didn’t back off. He leaned closer, voice dropping. “Dressed like that, you’re basically begging for attention, huh?”
Your chest tightened. “Excuse me?”
He chuckled, bold enough to let his fingers graze your waist. “Don’t act like you’re not asking for it, sweetheart.”
Before you could shove him off, Chris was there.
“Back the fuck off,” he snapped, shoving the guy’s arm away from you.
The guy snorted, unbothered. “Relax, man. If she’s dressed like a slut, she’s obviously looking for someone to—”
Chris’s fist connected with his jaw before he could finish. The crack was sickening, the guy stumbling back into the wall. People shouted, the music faltered, drinks spilled.
“Chris!” you screamed, but he wasn’t listening.
The guy swung back, catching Chris in the lip, splitting it open. Chris shoved him again, fists flying, rage in every line of his body. His teammates jumped in, trying to separate them, but Chris was relentless.
“He touched you,” Chris growled, voice rough, his knuckles bloody now. “Talked about you like that—”
“Chris, stop!” you cried, grabbing his arm, pulling him back with all your strength. Finally, someone wedged themselves between them, dragging the other guy away.
“You’re outta your damn mind,” the guy spat, clutching his jaw.
“Say it again,” Chris snarled, lunging forward, only for you to shove your body against his chest to hold him back.
“Enough!” you shouted, glaring up at him. “We’re leaving. Now.”
His chest heaved, nostrils flared, but finally he let you drag him out of the house, blood smeared across his mouth and knuckles.
—
Back home, you shoved him onto the counter, snatching the first aid kit from under the sink.
“You’re insane,” you snapped, dabbing at his split lip with trembling hands. “Absolutely insane.”
Chris winced but didn’t flinch away, his blue eyes locked on you. “He touched you.”
“That doesn’t mean you get to—ugh—nearly kill someone in the middle of a party!”
“He called you a slut,” Chris bit out, jaw tight. “You think I’m letting anyone get away with that?”
You froze, your breath catching at the way he said it—furious, protective, almost…possessive.
“Chris,” you whispered, softer now. “You can’t keep doing this.”
His hand came up, catching your wrist as you dabbed at his lip. His thumb brushed your pulse, slow, deliberate.
“You didn’t like it either,” he said quietly, gaze dropping to your mouth.
The room felt too small, the air too thick. Your heartbeat pounded as his face inched closer, your lips parting on instinct.
And then—your phone buzzed.
You glanced down. Noah.
The spell shattered.
Chris leaned back instantly, jaw clenched, eyes hard as you stared at your brother’s name lighting up your screen.
CeeCee Yaps- Well i hope you enjoyed this cute little chapter.

Chapter Two: Terms and Conditons
You wake up to the smell of coffee and the muffled sound of music pulsing through the floorboards. For a moment, you forget where you are, rolling over in bed with a groan, until the foreign view of Chris’s too-big bedroom (your bedroom now, technically) reminds you.
Right. Noah’s gone. And you’re stuck here.
The ache in your chest returns like it never left, but you shove it down. Dwelling on it will only make the emptiness worse.
Dragging yourself into the hallway, you tug your hoodie tighter around your body, padding toward the kitchen. The closer you get, the louder the music becomes, and the more irritation prickles in your stomach.
Of course he’s up already. Of course he’s blasting something obnoxious before noon.
When you round the corner, you stop short.
Chris is standing shirtless in front of the counter, sweatpants hanging low on his hips, shaking the last crumbs from a cereal box into his mouth like a heathen. His hair is damp, pushed back lazily, drops of water sliding down his neck. He looks unfairly casual, like he just rolled out of a commercial for “morning-after cockiness.”
He glances up mid-chew, and the smirk spreads instantly across his face. “Morning, Bun.”
You scowl, moving past him toward the coffeemaker. “Don’t call me that.”
“Why not? It’s cute.”
“It’s annoying.”
“Then it’s perfect.” He leans back against the counter, arms crossing over his chest, watching you pour your coffee with that infuriating look like he owns the room. “Sleep okay?”
“No,” you mutter, too tired to fake niceness. “You’re loud.”
That gets a laugh out of him, deep and unbothered. “Didn’t realize you could hear me. Guess I’ll keep it down next time.”
“I doubt it.” You lift the mug to your lips, sighing as the warmth hits you.
Chris tilts his head. “You’re cranky when you’re tired. I’ll make a note of that.”
You glare over the rim of your cup. “Make a note to shut up.”
He laughs again, and you hate the way it makes your stomach flip.
—
By afternoon, you’re unpacking in the room Noah insisted you use—Chris’s guest room, though it feels like the air still belongs to him. The walls are bare, the dresser scratched, the closet half-filled with old jerseys. You’re trying to fold sweaters into neat stacks, but Chris keeps appearing in the doorway like an annoying shadow.
“You’re folding wrong.”
You don’t even look up. “There’s no wrong way to fold a sweater.”
“Sure there is. Look at those edges. Disaster.”
You slam the drawer shut and whirl on him. “If you’re so good at it, why don’t you do it?”
“Because,” he drawls, stepping into the room to flop dramatically on your bed, “watching you struggle is way more entertaining.”
You throw a pillow at him. He catches it with one hand, grinning. “Feisty.”
“Insufferable,” you correct, yanking another sweater from the box.
“And yet…” He props the pillow under his head like he belongs there. “Here we are.”
You glare at him, trying not to notice how comfortably he sprawls across your bed like it’s already his territory. “Terms and conditions, Bun. Welcome to hell,” he adds smugly.
You want to scream.
—
Dinner is takeout again, because apparently Chris doesn’t “trust your beginner chef experiments” yet. You threaten to make pasta just to prove him wrong, but the truth is you’re too exhausted to fight much harder.
The two of you end up on the couch with cartons balanced between you, hockey highlights flickering across the screen. He’s sprawled with his long legs stretched out, taking up more than half the couch, while you try to wedge yourself into the sliver of space left.
“Don’t hog the fries,” you mutter, reaching for the carton in his lap.
Chris lifts it out of reach without looking away from the TV. “House rule: what’s mine is mine.”
“Pretty sure Noah said you’re supposed to take care of me.”
His head turns, eyes glinting with amusement. “Oh, I’ll take care of you, Bun. Don’t worry about that.”
The way he says it makes your chest tighten, a heat you shove down by rolling your eyes. “Gross.”
“Honest,” he corrects.
—
Later that night, when you finally crawl into bed, the quiet feels heavier than before. Noah’s absence echoes in the walls, in the way Chris hums off-key in the shower down the hall, in the fact that you can’t escape him even when the door’s shut.
And when he knocks lightly on the wall between your rooms—just once, teasing, like he knows you’re lying awake—you want to scream at him.
Instead, you whisper into the dark “I hate this already.”
From the other side, faint but smug, you hear his voice:
“Sweet dreams, Bun.”
Your heart races for no reason you want to admit. Because Noah was right…(like always) Living with Chris is already trouble.
A/N: Hopefully you enjoyed!

Cocky!Chris X Bratty!Bun
Chapter One: Goodnight, Bun.
Your brother’s duffel bag is sitting by the front door, heavy enough to make the floorboards creak beneath it. The sight of it alone makes your stomach twist. Noah’s, always been the strong one, the steady one. The one you never had to worry about losing. But now, with him standing in his uniform, lacing up his boots, it feels like the world is about to flip upside down without warning.
You’re trying to hold it together, but your eyes burn anyway.
“No tears, Bun.” His voice is soft but firm, like it always is when he’s trying to keep you calm. “If you start, I’ll start. And that’s not the look I’m going for right now.”
You let out a weak laugh, swiping under your eyes with your sleeve. “I’m not crying. Just…allergies.”
“Mm-hm.” He doesn’t push, but he pulls you into another hug anyway, wrapping his arms around you so tightly you think he’s trying to memorize the shape of you. You bury your face in his shoulder, inhaling the familiar laundry soap smell, trying to pretend like you can freeze this moment.
When he pulls back, his expression hardens just slightly. Not at you, but at the guy leaning against the kitchen doorway. Chris.
“Now,” Noah says, leveling his gaze at his best friend, “I know I don’t have to say this, but I’m saying it anyway. Keep your hands off my sister.”
Your cheeks heat instantly. “Noah—”
“No, I’m serious.” He cuts you off, his attention still fixed on Chris. “You’re twenty-one, you’re a hockey player, and you’re a cocky bastard. I know you. Which means I know you’re not exactly the kind of guy I want anywhere near her.”
Chris smirks, like the accusation doesn’t bother him. Like he’s heard it before. Which, you realize, he probably has. “Relax, man. She’s not my type.”
That stings a little, more than you’d admit. You cross your arms, glaring.
Noah’s not laughing. He steps closer, pointing a finger at Chris. “I mean it. If I hear about anything, if she so much as tells me you looked at her wrong, I’ll fly back here and—”
Chris holds up his hands, still grinning. “Got it. Hands to myself. You don’t have to threaten me.”
Noah’s eyes narrow like he doesn’t believe him, but he finally looks at you. “And you—”
You raise your eyebrows. “Me?”
“Yes, you.” His tone softens, but his eyes stay serious. “Don’t mess with him. He’s a player, and I don’t want to see you get hurt. He’s not worth it, Bun.”
You swallow hard, wanting to argue, but the words stick in your throat.
When Noah hugs you again, it’s longer this time. He presses his chin against the top of your head. “Promise me you’ll be careful. Stay out of trouble.”
Your voice is muffled against his chest. “I promise.”
You don’t mean it, not really, but you say it anyway because it makes him smile.
It isn’t until he slings his duffel over his shoulder that he drops the final bomb. “Oh, and you’re staying here with Chris while I’m gone.”
You pull back immediately. “What? No. I can stay at Jenna’s, or—”
“No.” His voice is steady, final. “You’re not couch-surfing at your friend’s place for months. Chris will take care of you. I trust him.”
You glance at Chris, who looks like he’s holding back a laugh, and your stomach flips with irritation. “This is a terrible idea.”
“It’s not,” Noah insists, kissing the top of your head before reaching for the doorknob. “He’s an idiot, but he’s dependable. He’ll look out for you.”
“Yeah, Bun,” Chris adds, his grin infuriating. “I’ll look out for you.”
You glare at him, but your chest aches too much to come up with a retort. Because Noah’s actually leaving. The door is opening, the air is shifting, and just like that, the house feels emptier than it ever has.
When he finally disappears down the front steps, your throat closes around a sob you can’t hold back.
Chris is quiet for once, standing a few feet away, hands shoved in his pockets. And for the first time since you’ve known him, his smile fades.
The silence after Noah leaves feels like it stretches forever. You stand frozen in the doorway, the echo of his boots still in your ears.
Chris breaks it first.
“You hungry?” His voice is casual, but you catch the way his eyes flick to your face, checking if you’re about to cry again.
You fold your arms. “Don’t act nice just because he told you to babysit me.”
That cocky grin slides right back into place. “Babysit? Please. You think you’re that much work?”
“You are,” you shoot back, dragging one of your lighter boxes down the hall.
Chris follows, lifting two at once like they weigh nothing. “Pretty sure you’re the one who’s high-maintenance. I saw how many skincare bottles were in that bathroom box. What was it—fifty?”
“Sixteen,” you snap, narrowing your eyes.
He smirks. “Exactly my point, Bun.”
The nickname makes your stomach twist, like it always does. It’s annoying, embarrassing, too familiar—but the way it sounds in his voice tonight feels…different.
—
By the time the sun goes down, you’re half-asleep on the couch, surrounded by half-unpacked boxes. Chris drops beside you, a takeout bag in his hand. He nudges it toward you.
“Eat before you pass out.”
You peek inside. “You got my order right.”
He shrugs, reaching for his fries. “Course I did. Been ordering for you since, what, high school? Some things don’t change.”
That makes your chest tighten a little. You cover it with sarcasm. “Wow. My knight in shining hockey pads.”
Chris leans back, smirk lazy. “Careful. Keep talking like that and I’ll think you like me.”
You throw a fry at him. He catches it mid-air with his mouth, grinning like a kid.
“Impressive,” you admit reluctantly.
“See? You do like me.”
“Delusional,” you mutter, but your smile gives you away.
—
Later, when you finally drag yourself to your room, Chris lingers in the hallway. His hair’s damp, his t-shirt clings in the worst/best ways, and he looks way too at home leaning against your doorframe.
“You gonna cry yourself to sleep, Bun?” he teases, voice low and playful.
You cross your arms, but your lips twitch. “No. But thanks for the concern, Dad.”
“Not your dad.” His smirk deepens, eyes flicking over you. “But I can tuck you in if you need me to.”
Your cheeks heat instantly. “Shut up, Chris.”
He laughs under his breath, pushing off the frame. “Relax. Just saying—if you have a nightmare, you know where my room is.”
You roll your eyes hard, but when your door closes behind you, you realize your heart’s beating faster than it should be.
Because Noah might’ve trusted Chris to take care of you—but you’re not sure what’s more dangerous: him keeping that promise, or him breaking it.

“Don’t go.”
Your voice was barely above a whisper, but Matt still paused mid-spin of his keys, cocky grin faltering just slightly.
He tilted his head, chains glinting under the streetlight. “Don’t go? Angel, I’ve been prepping for this race all week.”
You stepped closer, tugging on the sleeve of his leather jacket like it was the only way to anchor him. Your throat burned as you tried to make him understand. “I don’t know why but—I just feel it, Matt. Like something bad’s gonna happen tonight. Please, just skip it. Please.”
For a second, his eyes softened. Then the grin returned, cocky as ever. “Baby, nothing’s gonna happen. Promise.”
“You can’t promise that!” you snapped, desperation spilling out now. “You’re not invincible, Matt! What if this time you don’t come back?”
He cupped your cheek with one warm, calloused hand, brushing his thumb over your skin. “You worry too much. I’ll win, I’ll get out, I’ll kiss you stupid, and then you’ll be laughing about this. That’s how it always goes.”
Your stomach sank. He didn’t get it.
You wanted to grab his keys, throw them into the gutter, anything—but he was already sliding into the driver’s seat, music blasting, engine roaring. He gave you one last wink before the tires screamed against the pavement, lining up at the start.
—
You couldn’t breathe. From the moment the flag dropped, your chest stayed tight. That gut feeling hadn’t gone anywhere.
And then—
The corner came too fast. His back wheels swung out. The metal-on-concrete shriek sliced through the air, followed by the horrifying crash of his car slamming into the barrier.
The scream ripped from your throat before you even realized it. “MATT!”
The world became smoke and flashing lights. You pushed through the crowd, hysterical, sobbing, reaching for the wreck. “No, no, no—please, God—Matt!”
Paramedics were already tearing the door open, dragging him out. Blood streaked his temple, his arm bent wrong, his head slack.
Your knees nearly buckled. “Please tell me he’s okay!” you begged, your hands clutching the sleeve of the medic. “Please! He’s breathing, right? He’s alive?”
“We can’t tell you that yet, ma’am,” the medic said flatly.
The words gutted you. “What do you mean you can’t tell me? That’s—That’s my boyfriend! Just tell me he’s gonna be okay!”
They didn’t answer. They never answered. They just lifted him onto the stretcher, and you stumbled after them, sobbing so hard you could barely see.
—
Hours passed in the hospital waiting room. Your hands shook against your lap, your clothes still stinking of smoke. You couldn’t stop replaying it in your head—the sound, the sight of his blood, the way his body looked limp.
When the doctor finally came, you nearly collapsed. “He’s stable,” they said. “Broken arm, mild concussion. He’s lucky.”
Lucky. The word shattered something in you.
You ran to his room, and there he was: pale, bruised, arm in a cast, a bandage around his head. His chest rose and fell, steady. Alive.
The sight cracked you wide open. “Matt…” Your voice broke as you rushed to his bedside, tears spilling again. “God, I thought I lost you.”
He stirred, eyelids fluttering open. “Angel…” His voice was hoarse, weak, but still him.
The anger and fear boiled over. “Do you have any idea what you just put me through? I begged you not to go! I told you something was gonna happen, and you didn’t care, and then you—” You broke off, choking on another sob.
With his good arm, he reached out and tugged you closer until you were practically on the bed. His voice was quiet, raw: “Baby, calm down, please?”
You collapsed into him, burying your face in the crook of his neck. The sobs came softer now, broken but steady, your tears soaking his skin. His hand slid up your back, fingers clumsy but desperate to hold you.
For a while, that’s all it was—your cries muffled against him, his heartbeat steady under your cheek.
Then, after a beat of silence, his low rasp broke through. “As much as I love you… you are pressing right against my broken arm.”
A watery laugh slipped out of you before you could stop it, hiccuping against his neck. “Oh my god—I’m sorry.” You pulled back just enough to see the crooked little grin tugging at his lips.
“Don’t be,” he murmured, thumb brushing a tear off your cheek. “I’d take the pain if it means you’re close.”
Your heart cracked all over again. You sniffled, shaking your head. “You’re such an idiot.”
“Yeah,” he whispered. “But I’m your idiot.”
You leaned your forehead against his, your voice barely a breath. “You scared me so bad. Don’t ever do that again.”
“I won’t,” he promised, eyes heavy but steady. “Swear on it.”
There was a silence then, soft and heavy, before you whispered, “When we get out of here…”
“Mm?” he hummed.
“We’re getting pancakes. The huge, stupid stack. With whipped cream.”
He chuckled, low and rough. “Deal. But only if you feed me. Pretty sure one arm isn’t enough for a fork.”
You rolled your eyes through the tears, smiling weakly. “Fine. But only because you almost died.”
He smirked, tugging you closer until you curled up against him in the hospital bed. “Guess almost dying has its perks.”
You swatted at him lightly, but then buried yourself in his chest again, finally letting your body relax. His fingers laced with yours, his breath steady against your hair. And for the first time that night, you let yourself believe he really was going to be okay.

THROUGH THE MIRROR ⊹ ࣪ ˖
In which . . . In which a fight leaves you hurt and distant, but Chris pulls you into his lap to talk..and to quietly, remind you that you’re his.
Warnings- Explicit smut. Fingering (f!receiving). Praise kink. Mirror play. Soft aftercare. Slight angst → comfort.
You hover in the doorway, still fuming, arms crossed like a shield. He’s sitting at the edge of the bed, elbows resting loosely on his knees, looking at you with those maddeningly calm blue eyes.
“Come here,” Chris says softly, patting his thigh.
Your jaw tightens. “Why? So you can tell me I’m overreacting again?”
His gaze doesn’t waver. “No. So I can actually listen this time. Please…just sit with me.”
You want to stay stubborn. You want to spin on your heel and storm out. But you don’t. Your legs carry you forward, and when you’re close enough, his hands find your waist, guiding you into his lap like you belong there.
You stiffen, still glaring. “You were being an ass, Chris. Like, you don’t even—You didn’t even notice how uncomfortable I was, and then you just brushed it off, and it’s like—”
“I know,” he murmurs, fingers rubbing circles into your thighs. “You’re right. I didn’t handle it right. And I’m sorry.”
You huff, words tumbling out fast, “It’s just—sometimes I feel like I’m talking and you’re not really hearing me, and I’m standing there like an idiot trying to get your attention while—”
He tilts his head, meeting your eyes, thumb stroking the inside of your thigh now. “I’m hearing you, baby. Every word.”
And maybe it’s the way he says it—quiet, steady, like he means it—or maybe it’s the way his hands are gliding higher, skimming the hem of your shorts. Either way, the sharp edges of your anger start to blur.
“You don’t…you don’t get to just do that,” you mutter, but your voice has softened. “Touch me like that and think I’ll just…forget I’m mad.”
Chris leans in, his lips brushing the curve of your jaw. “I don’t want you to forget,” he says against your skin. “I want to fix it. Let me, yeah?”
You’re about to answer, but then his mouth is at your neck, warm and apologetic, and your breath catches. He kisses you there, slow and patient, while his fingers slide up, tracing the edge of your panties through your shorts.
The mirror across from the bed catches your reflection — you in his lap, arms no longer crossed, his hands exploring your thighs while his mouth worships your neck.
“You always do this,” you murmur, a shaky attempt at annoyance. “You—ah—distract me.”
His chuckle is low, dark. “Is it working?”
You don’t answer. Not when his hand finally slips under the leg of your shorts, his fingers pressing against the damp fabric of your panties. He hums like he knew you’d be like this—already wet, even when you swore you were mad.
“Talk to me,” he whispers, circling your clit slowly through the thin cotton. “Tell me what’s wrong.”
And you try. You really do. The words come, but they’re uneven, scattered by every deliberate circle of his fingers. “I…I just wanted you to—fuck—pay attention to me, Chris. I felt… like I wasn’t even there and—oh, my god—”
His other arm wraps around your waist, pulling you closer against his chest, holding you steady while his fingers keep working you through the fabric. Slow, teasing circles over your clit, then running the pads of his fingers lower, gliding through your folds and back up again, dragging that slick heat with him.
“God, you’re perfect,” he breathes, the words brushing warm against your ear. “Always so perfect for me.”
When he finally slides beneath the waistband of your shorts and panties, the first touch of his skin on yours makes your hips jerk forward. He takes his time, running two fingers slowly through your folds, teasing up and down, tracing the swollen edges of you before finding that sensitive bundle of nerves again. The circles are unhurried, careful but firm, just enough pressure to make your head tip back against his shoulder.
“Chris—”
“I’m here,” he murmurs, kissing the line of your jaw. “I’ve got you. Just let me take care of you.”
And when his fingers finally dip lower, pushing one thick finger inside you, the stretch makes a soft sound catch in your throat. He groans quietly at the feel of you, his forehead pressing to your shoulder as he starts a slow, steady rhythm, his thumb still circling your clit in perfect time.
“Baby,” he whispers, curling that finger just right, “you’ve got all of me. Always.”
The mirror makes it worse—or maybe better. You’re a vision there, eyes glassy, lips parted, body melting against him, while his reflection stays steady, focused, completely wrapped up in you.
“Look,” Chris breathes, his hand leaving your waist to cup your jaw, gently tilting your face toward the mirror. “See that? That’s mine. You’re mine.”
And then a second finger joins the first, filling you deeper, his thumb tightening its circles over your clit. The wet, obscene sound of it mixes with his quiet praise, his voice low and steady in your ear.
“That’s it,” he murmurs, guiding you through every shuddering breath. “You’re doing so good for me…let go, baby. I’ve got you.”
The reassurance is what undoes you—the warmth in his tone, the absolute certainty in his voice—and when you fall apart in his lap, trembling and gasping, he holds you through it. His arm stays locked around your waist, keeping you steady while the aftershocks roll through you, soft kisses pressed into your shoulder, your temple, anywhere his mouth can reach.
When your breathing finally slows, when you’re limp and boneless in his arms, Chris nuzzles your hair and hums softly.
“Still mad?” he asks, quiet, almost teasing.
You manage the smallest shake of your head, voice soft and broken. “No…not anymore.”
