“And no one can ever figure out what you want, and you won’t tell them, and you realize the one person in the world who loves you isn’t the one you thought it would be, and you don’t trust him to love you in a way you would enjoy.”
— Richard Siken, “A Primer for the Small Weird Loves”

Just wanted to share a few more of my favorites from the series of 100 cat paintings I did, since they’re all sold out and offline now. They all feel so special to me because I made them for Moses.
Sketchbook pages of Passiflora, the cat I am catsitting this summer. The background is an acrylic gouache I really like the color of, but I hate how it feels on my brush and doesn’t scan well either!
I never draw buildings (too many angles), but I gave this house in Bar Harbor a shot.
