Every fic I read Dennis has either been passed around like a blunt or is a virgin completely repressed by religious trauma before he meets Robby (or insert male character). I think the truth is he has had a few completely mediocre sexual encounters and has no idea what all the fuss is about really. I mean, he’s hooked up with a few men in college and even a few from the gay clubs Trin drags him too. He likes it just fine. Mostly because he loves pleasing people and hearing how good of a job he’s doing & how good of a boy he is but that’s all it is really. He has never been with anyone who prioritizes making him feel good, he’s just so eager to please after all, why would they bother?

Until he meets Robby who literally cannot get off unless he makes his boy feel so good first. The first time they have sex Dennis says “how do you want me?” And Robby just laughs and asks “well what do you like?” And Dennis’s brain almost short circuits. He just stares blankly trying desperately to reach for the right answer, to be good. So he says it, “I just want you to feel good.” Robby clicks his tongue, because that just won’t work. Dennis knows he got it wrong, well and truly. Tears form in his eyes and he hides his face in embarrassment and frustration.

That won’t do either. Robby chides “ah-ah, no hiding. We’ll figure it out together.” When Robby drops to his knees, Dennis almost short circuits. He didn’t know the kind of men he was interested in even did that. When he cums, only a minute later, he feels like he could melt with shame. But when he looks at Robby, he’s beaming. It becomes obsessive from there. Robby’s mission becomes finding every last thing that makes his boy squirm, cataloguing. filing each one away for later.

Sometimes, it’s so overwhelming that Dennis cries into his neck after. Those are Robby’s favorite moments. He pets his hair and says “such a pretty little thing. You make the sweetest noises when you come apart. Who wouldn’t want any to please such a sweet boy?”
