i think love is revolutionary because when done right, it allows for accountability, for growth, for healing, for laughter, for joy, for connection, for touch, for coming home. maybe it is foolish of me, even a little stupid to think of it as such but when done right, when honoured, when fulfilled, when prepared and boiled and served well, it truly does magic, it truly changes lives, it nourishes, it feeds, it gives hope, hope, so much of it.
“Thank you for loving me like this,”
— Marina Tsvetaeva, from The Selected Poems: “I’m Glad Your Sickness,”
Umm can’t wait to get rawed in our kitchen when I’m living with the love of my life
“that’s just the way the world works” it literally doesn’t have to be but okay
if anyone ever tells you “humans are just selfish / life is cruel / that’s just how the world is, get over it” be critical of them bc there’s a 75% chance they’re just using that as an excuse for their own shitty behavior so that they don’t have to put an effort into being better, kinder people

“In me, something is broken. I try over and over again to understand what happened.”
— Anaïs Nin, from Nearer the Moon: The Previously Unpublished Unexpurgated Diary, 1937-1939
for your consideration: just because a feeling is valid doesn’t mean u have to allow it to continue
“Get into the habit of asking yourself, does this support the life I am trying to create?”
— Irisa Yardenah
