These three rabbits were rescued from a research lab in 2014. Enduring regular, painful experiments before coming to Animal Place, these rabbits are victims of cosmetics that were needlessly tested on animals. 

Rabbits are commonly used in labs to test the safety of makeup, hygiene products, household cleaning products, and medications. 

Condemn animal cruelty through your consumer choices. Be sure to only purchase products that clearly state that they have not been tested on animals.

Summer the cow, enjoying summer...

Born on a dairy farm, Summer was ripped from his mother so that humans could take her milk that was meant for him. He was sent to auction at only a few days old — a terrifying, confusing, and disorienting experience. If Summer hadn’t been rescued, he would most likely have been purchased by someone who would’ve killed him for “dairy beef” at around 2 years of age. Thankfully, this was not Summer’s fate. He turned 8 this past May and has many more long, happy years ahead of him. #DitchDairy
