@springcourtinquiries - Icarus bowed his head as he walked through the entrance of the shrine. He made sure to watch his step as to not destroy any flowers in his wake. "Greetings from the spring court," he started, "I come bearing gifts from my queen!" he opens his satchel, placing down a small velvet bag of coins, "It is to my understanding that you, Crylic, are the god of seasons?" he questioned, before looking to Andromeda, "And are you their guardian?"

“Oh, goodness! All of this, for me?”

The Shaydevoir claps their hands together before accepting the offering of coins.

“Actually, more accurately, I’m the God of Change! But– That’s mostly symbolized by the changing seasons. Spring is my favorite season, so I’m really, really honored that the Spring Court has come bearing gifts…!”

“Thank you so much!”

“I am… something of a guardian, yes.”

Icarus softly thumped his wings against the ground, fluffing himself out and letting out a long, tired yawn.

“I have so many more letters to deliver...” he mumbled, getting ready to take off once more. 

He hopes that the princess isn’t upset with how long he’s taking.

Little Update

(Im probably going to end up changing the name / theme of this blog!! I want to add in another character but they are not feathered nor are they an absol-- But hopefully I'll have some plot going on soon!! Thanks for your patience everyone!)

@ask-featheredabsol Icarus joins Estrella in the sky, copying her movements so he could stay the same distance without getting too close. His voice was loud enough to be heard in the sky, despite it's volume, however, he still was able to speak calmly and warmly; "I have to say, you have beautiful technique as you fly... Is there a way to keep from getting lost in the vastness of the sky? Or, are you perhaps more like myself, where you prefer to just let the winds decide your course?"

It’s a little of both, really.

I glide with the wind, exploring wherever it takes me…

To get back, or if I have somewhere in mind, I follow my inner compass!

Estrella: Is it frustrating to not have claws on the tips of your wings? I don’t know what I’d do without mine. Can you stand upright, at least? I know it isn’t common for your species, but most creatures with wings can... a conundrum to be sure.

Icarus smiled, shaking his head lightly, “I’ve no need for claws on the tips of my wings, I’m usually just able to use my wings to crush whatever I would need to cut...” he paused for a moment, blushing slightly

“I can stand just fine, though most Pokemon comment on how strange it is due to my long body... Well, either that or how intimidating it is.” He laughed nervously.

I'm sorry, I'm gonna regret this but I can't help it XD A rather timid vaporeon called Myst approaches and appears to be wearing goggles and what appears to be some form of jet engine on their back. Myst: umm, I'd like to challenge you to a sky race if that's ok! A skarmory can be seen in the distance giving what appears to be a good luck gesture to Myst. Myst: I'm ready, don't worry. Swift says it can help me fly and ummm, I'm gonna try my best! She says this with all her heart! Good luck Myst!

“Hello Myst, are you perhaps acquainted with Shade of Stars, perhaps?” Icarus looks down at Myst with a soft smile. Happy to see a friend of a friend.He gave her the head-start this time. 

However upon seeing how fast the jetpack took her off he sped up… More worried that she might not know how to control it than wanting to win.

“Oh dear… Do you know how to fly, small Vaporeon!?”

Shade the absol has appeared! "I'd love to challenge you to a sky race!" She says. (I was considering Myst with a jet pack for the fun of it but I'd feel bad for Myst XD)

”Hello once again Shade of Stars!”

Icarus grinned, stretching his wings and running off the side of the cliff he was resting on; He soared seamlessly through the sky. It seems he took quite naturally to the sky; Perhaps he was part flying type?

“Try to keep up!” he playfully taunted, laughing while he flew.

A swift shadow starts darting up the cliffs and comes to a stop in front of you. It appears to be an absol. Shade: "Hi, its actually not often i see other absol around. Nice to meet you, I'm Shade. I'm the leader of a mystery dungeon team called Stars. Sorry if this may seem an odd question but its a rather important one. By any chance did you see a pokemon running around here holding a small golden fragment of something? It's really important that I get it back!"

Icarus follows along with Shade’s words a bit numbly as he listens, blinking a few times before nodding

“I... don’t think I have seen any Pokemon fitting that description...” he paused, sitting up straight 

“I’ve been asleep for quite a long time now that I think about it... Perhaps I need to fly a bit more.” he slowly stood, shaking himself off,

“If I see a Pokemon fitting that description I will attempt to contact you, kind Shade of Stars!”It seems that Icarus doesn’t really know what a Mystery Dungeon Team is, perhaps he is isolated from such a thing...?@shadetheabsol

((AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! artist)) Icarus peers up at you innocently, perhaps he is curious about you? Or maybe he wants a sky race...

So....Hi, are you really fluffy?

Icarus tilts his head, smiling slightly as he spoke, “I suppose?” he softly laughed, poofing out his feathers.

He seems embarrassed by the question, yet maintaining a level of happiness. Perhaps he enjoys when people notice his feathers, but they don’t notice them very often?

*storm eye walks over to Icarus quietly and just leaves a soft blanket by him*

Icarus continues to sleep, however upon waking up he curls up in the blanket, softly mumbling his thanks,

“It is much appreciated, stranger. I will treasure it.”
