The New Year is starting off with some Thai BL bangers!

Ossan’s Love Thailand:

Mix and Earth are back sillier than ever! I haven’t seen the original Ossan’s Love (it’s on my eternal backlog), so I have nothing to compare it to. The whole vibe is silly, Heng an absolute fool, whose whole existence revolves around getting into situations and shenanigans.

I will not be getting off my hill that endgame should be Mo/Heng/Boss as all three are already simmering with chemistry. I need a three way kiss. Just one. Please P’Au. Please 🙏 😭

Besides that, I’m not expecting anything but some more laughs from OLT. No expectations, just a groovy three-way idiot time.

The Boy Next World

Okay, did Mame get a new director? Or did the old one level up? So far, the direction is killing it. It felt fresh and the pacing was a lot faster than I’m used to in Mame shows. Super excited for this new feel!

The characters themselves fall-inline with Mame characters. Phu being a different shade of Rain, while Cir is a more casual less bikery Phayu. Still it’s a good start and I’m okay with characters being shades of each other as long as these versions bring something new to the table drama-wise.

Spoilery plot guesses: I’m going to guess that Phu is dead in Cir’s world and that’s why he doesn’t care to get back to his own Phu. Perhaps this world’s Cir is in limbo and he’s going to try and get back to his body. Maybe it will end with dead!Phu and dead!Cir together while their alive counterparts are happy… being alive.

Jin might be from the other world too as him knowing that they’d have a test was suspicious. He definitely knows more than he’s letting on!

I’m actually really excited for both series episode two’s!
