if act I wasn't self titled what do you guys think it would have been named? since the other two got subtitles and all that

given they are named after songs on the album and both seem to have relevance to the main focus of the album (thomas, then the city) i am personally of the belief it would have been act I: sons of fate !!!

FINALLY done with the next piece of the Protomen Act I series. still got like three more scenes-ish I wanna draw. this one was hard to get myself motivated to finish, i suppose it was a lot more complex to finish due to all the different parts of it.

Notes:

So this one is simpler, Megaman was not meant for fighting or for working, his outfit is far more civilian. Bomber-style jacket does invoke a bit of both brother's vaguely military aesthetic, but also a rebellious vibe.

Fingerless gloves, tight black shirt, and jeans all to again reinforce the rebellious vibe, the anti-authority punk kind of vibe and ties into the more blue-collar background Dr. Light comes from. Not shown: patches on the jacket (especially "DLN 001" on the back, Megaman's canonical designation) and/or jeans.

Boots shorter (slightly) but reminiscent of Protoman's. Also same nonhuman leg shape to place them apart from the human characters.

Blaster arm! Protoman has one too but I didn't draw it in his image lmao

Helmet is noticeably a motorcycle helmet, but with details modifying it to resemble the canon Megaman helmet (the chevron/stripe up the middle). The mouthpiece and jaw/earpieces also resemble what we see on Protoman during their confrontation. The plan however is that Megaman's helmet gets shattered the reverse of Protoman's during his rampage through the Wilybots, and he pulls off the mouthpiece during the above "The shadow, it covers your face but your eyes shine just like mine" line or somewhere around there. (lmao so this isn't entirely accurate to the vision but yeah)
