episteme the way we think the structure in which we think the list order of knowledge. This structure fluctuates from time period to time period and decides on what is thinkable and what is not.

western episteme of the renaissance mostly based on interpretation bc the focus is on Christian God. This looks like this that looks like that. The world is connected knowledge is the source of the world and knowledge is God so everything is connected in one way. These ways are split into 4 categories that i forgkt the names of, what is directly in contact (the plant and the soil), invisible forces attracting things (sunflower turning with the sun) (what is the reflection of something bigger in smaller form (eyes and stars) ans things that look alike (roots of plants and veins). They were basically making assumptions on the world and this was their proof, that they were deducing signatures of one connected knowledge, God.

Weatern episteme of the classical period comes and needs order. We do not look, deduce, interpret looking for common law. They see things, see what they look like, what they are, what they’re used for, and place them in a category before placing them in a box. Main difference is that theres not one giant category and relations where all things connected because its on one surface, its just multiple surfaces. So then natural come specialisations for each surface, biology, economics, grammar, etc.

Western episteme of the modern period is just the acknowledgment of forces that drive the existence of knowledge, work as the force of economy, life as biology, History. The thing who commits the actions is everything so theres now the concept of Man, knowledge is him and he is knowledge and to him and him only will knowledge circulate to and from.

these r just example. “knowledge” is dictated by subconscious frameworks that come from the larger framework of a system, what you think and what you know and how you think and how you know is determined
