regarding the comments contest, what exactly does the SQ zine swag bag contain?

That prize will be the first and second volumes of the SQ zine, plus SQ bookmarks and postcards made as merch for each launch!

Return of the Comments Contest!

Supernova mods are excited to announce that the comments contest is back!

To participate, all you have to do is comment on this year's Supernova fics and art! Comments must be at least 3-5 lines (not including quotes) telling the author what you like about the story, or artists what you liked about their art!*

There will be two winners: 1) a raffle winner (the more you comment, the higher your chance of winning! Every comment is a ticket), and 2) the Grand Champion (the person with the most qualifying comments).

The Raffle Winner will be awarded copies of the SQZine (I & II) Swag Bag. The Grand Champion will be able to choose between 1) their own SQZine Swag Bag or 2) a signed copy of CG Malburi's Markless AND a brand-new SQ fic by coalitiongirl, inspired by your prompt!

So jump into the collection and start commenting - you have until October 25th at 11:59pm ET to comment!

With that final reveal, we have officially come to the end of Swan Queen Supernova for 2025!

It’s wonderful to see the fandom still going strong in the tenth year of this challenge, a full seven years after the show ended - and this year you all created: 

1.15 MILLION words of fanfic across 54 fics

and 46 pieces of art, including paintings, drawings, manips, moodboards, and even a slideshow!

Our 51 artists and authors should definitely give themselves a round of applause for all of the hard work they put in this year.

A huge shoutout as well to the:

12 cheerleaders,

35 pinch-hitters,

and 7 betas who pitched in to make this all possible,

and also to all the readers who are commenting and making sure that our creators feel appreciated!
