I’m still just... that browser chi update.

Like, holy shit. I’d like to have a refined translation first (Kazr sometimes polishes up his translations later), BUT STILL. Such implications.

Is Player A talking about Vulpes, or someone else entirely? If he is talking about Vulpes, that’s really something! Vulpes taking all the best players from each of the unions, so weird! But why would Ephemera lie abou this union, then?

But what if it’s not Vulpes? They are two separate conversations/players. What if that’s foreshadowing, what if Player A is talking about Mysterious Figure/Xehanort? Or the 6th Foreteller? I can’t even excitedly shout that that’s what happened to Ephemera, because he’s completely fine!

He has a friendly-ish relationship with Ava, noting that she’s stressed/weak and asking for secrets while she’s down. And then Ava goes on to mention that Players like Ephemera, those w/o Unions, are the future. Did he quit his union to join the mentioned Player A’s foreteller? Is that not considered a proper union? Is Ephemera lying to Vulpes about having no union? 

WHY IS HE FRIENDLY WITH AVA. How do they know one another? Their relationship further implies that Ephemera is the 6th Foreteller, but... urk. His lack of union, his curiosity over the Book of Prophecy. There’s also flaws with that, as Ava considers him a Player, not a foreteller.

The first download is pretty fast, but the second download took a good 15 minutes. Still working on the third... looks a lot smaller! Nyoom.

Replayed the demo again, only difference was the placement of enemies. (And I did worse on the boss oops.) 

But I did some calculations, and it came out to 24-25 minutes in game per minute in real life... or, if it was 24 minutes in game per minute of life... that makes the game 13 hours long.

Hahahah Square.

Lumina turned into a nasty lil boss "Zaltys" who wasn't bad at all. I thought I was doing horrible, but I got 5 stars, so? I guess not too bad.

While the battle system's very complex, it's not too horrible, really--hell to customize, so it might be HORRIBLE later. Can you imagine all the strategies when there's literally THOUSANDS of combinations? You have an outfit slot, weapon slot, shield slot, accessory slot... and an ability slot for most things. And then 3 sets of those for your schema. It'll be freakin' crazy.

But very customizable? Hopefully?

...wow I... don't think that... Lightning gains levels? This is very scary wow.

Hoooooly shit this is a really complex outfit system.

There's 3 active schemas, along with a possibly unlimited number of inactive ones. There's only a set number of abilities, and to attach it to one outfit you have to remove it from another.

Just a demo, so I dont' think I'll put in  too much heavy time customizing but I could spend HOURS doing this.

The typical RPG thing that the didn't do the last two games and I was so happy about it.

You don't recovery HP between battles, you have to use items. :u

What a fancy little feature. "checkback often" for new and updates for the game.

And a rather nice facebook app, if I bothered with that.

You can post your scores, summon friend's items... I wonder what else they'll be doing with it. It seems to partially replace PS4's social capacity, so that's a nice lil thing to do.

"Settings"

THEY'RE USING SOME OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE good job Square, way to not reinvent the wheel. Otherwise all the settings look about the same as FF13-2, but with some social options.
