In anticipation of the WSL season that begins in mid March, Yeovil Town Ladies have released a 'Bill of Rights' for its fans.

It's a tremendous idea and details some tremendous initiatives such as the players staying on after matches and being available for signatures/photos as well as promising they'll give 100% to the club's cause.

The rights involving replying to fans queries, comments and ideas within 24 hours is excellent and is a standard that many English football clubs in the male division would do well to take heed of.

Kenyan journalist and broadcaster Claudia Akai’s tweet gives us an east African perspective of the Africa Cup of Nations currently taking place in the western African nation of Equatorial Guinea.

East African nations have always struggled to make a major impact at major tournaments. None qualified for the current AFCON and minor successes by Ethiopa and Sudan (if you qualify them as east African rather than central African) in qualifying for recent tournaments haven’t been followed up.

Canada's World Cup 1986 song. My inspiration. My muse. It ticks all of the boxes for a song to support a team at a cup final or at a tournament. It has fake bravado: "1000/1 are the odds they're giving us, a lot of them are in for a surprise", and it also mentions players individually and their skills: "George Pacos has a rifle for a shot".

It's quite simply a lovely way to spend 2 minutes and 18 seconds.
