because it’s so late (i’m really sorry ;;;; thank you for your patience), here is also a bonus gif where i turned on the layers one by one!! most of the time i worked on the palette memes like this, with each of the 5 colours on a separate layer ^^;; i find it strangely satisfying when the layers stack up like this so i hope you like it too

you can tell how late this is because i drew bambam’s back when got7 promoted If You Do... and then zico’s for Toy OTL

1080 x 1920, lockscreen series.

There are basically 3 different versions of the same thing (original, blue, orange). The last two are a sample using my own phone lockscreen (so you know how it looks with the bar on top) and the scanned version respectively. Somehow the colour in the scan didnt turn out the way it looks irl, so adjustments had to be made.

fun fact 1: i guess I cheated for markson since i fiddled with opacity of the backgrounds but i made both the same opacity (46%) so maybe it isn’t so bad? (who am i kidding)

fun fact 2: sungjoo’s was done with trackpad and mouse at first but i couldnt do it, i switched back to tablet after a while lol

i didn’t realize wenjoo had the same colour palette till i was doing sungjoo, haha! I tried imagining a shy sungjoo but couldn’t put the two words together, so I guess in the end he looks more embarrassed than anything.

art improvement meme 2015!

I only started seriously (??) trying digital art from May this year so I began from there (it’s also when I started doing uniq fanart). After looking at this, i realize.... I use blue and green a lot LOL

...and more because I couldn’t put all the drawings I’ve done into one meme! Which is great but at the same time there should have been way more than what I do have!! (note: october is missing because I actually DIDNT do any art in that time to focus on my studies. Meanwhile july had an overflow so I chose best 3,,,,,)

honestly I don’t know how much I actually improved (even though this is called the improvement meme...) but it’s a catalog? of the small progress I’ve made over these months. Perhaps it serves as an improvement meme in that it shows me more clearly the many, many areas I could improve on... OTL

but ok enough of me; thank you to all the artists and fanartists whose work and progress continue to amaze and motivate me!!! especially those with whom I am friends (quietly tags @ask-uniq​ @dovekey here) (and those like @annemariedebel who I don’t talk to but greatly admire from afar) (im v forgetful so i will probably constantly edit and update this list)
