I want to love a sad creature like you

A grand gesture so undeserving

Breathing life back into you

All the while I suffer under your demise

Surrender under your spell I fall deeper

The source of my soul depleted as you rise

Yet I’d do it all over again to see you live

And suddenly I let go.

Not because you weren’t important—

But because I was.

Hurt still haunts me—I’m not immune.

Just learning to be seen more

Maybe I’m too hurt too love properly

Maybe you awoke something I didn’t know I had

A heart that could love while shattered

A powerful earthquake that shook every bone

Maybe I can learn with you— but the fear

It was just an unexpected surprise

I didn’t know what you were saying, even when we were saying the same thing.

Maybe there’s something still there, hopefully

Suddenly, sound ceased to exist.

Silence crushing my bones.

Tears at the precipice,

Knees landing onto reality.

Stiffness clinging to air.

The ground no longer able to catch me,

I lost myself in the horror of love.

Blood pouring out of me.

Loving with a sick heart is tiring,

Surrounded by pain, it thrashed against the salt.

Shouting nothing to the void.

Pity the fool whom lives in a paper box.

The kind where storms cannot withstand what’s inside.

Grounded and benevolent, the box keeps on

No one knows what dwells within except those who’ve seen within it

Forgotten and remembered, lost and confused

The baggage of those who carry the fool

I wish you nothing but the best and a mirror..

to show the coward before me imitating a man.

With you I learned, yet again, all that glitters is not gold ..

But simply the shimmer of fake metals glinting in the sun, awaiting its next catch.

Bitter at the loneliness

Still living while everyone is in their season.

This season dragging nothing but lies with bodies.

Not wanting love pouring from my heart.

A season blooming all around me, as my petals fall.

Running while you hid.

Searching within you, while hands could never fit.

Ribs cracking impossibly to match ours..

Puzzle unsolved, chests bruised.

Pouring blood into you to save you.

Losing battles to the wounded.

Their sorrows of pain too deep to mend.

“God-—I’m depleted, defeated in despair for love.”

Soul governed by grief,

All the while a heart mourns. . .

A solder lost to love I could not understand.

Does it get easier?

The happy ending, will it ever come?

How will I know what feels right

If right never is

For the sharp pain in my gut is quick and precise

Painful yet known ..

I want to live the fairytale but still fight dragons

From the stories heard as a child.. let me be the princess this one time..

A broken spirit

How does one ride on spiritual silence?

Heavens, clear a path for me and guide me.

Within my spirit is holy, but without.. I’m nothing.

I crave You and your guidance, oh God.

Many serve but few obey, and for you Father. .

I must, for grace is just in the other side.

In the stillness of the night,

I hear You, God.

Sharpest tongue, but gentle heart.

He is risen, standing mightily before me.

A beautiful daughter accepting forgiveness,

For her strength comes from Him.

All grace and glory devoted to You.

Let it wash away.

All of me that no longer serves You.

The flesh that sticks and grabs onto thee.

Layers of muck and misery sludging off.

A rebirth on the rise.

To be closer to Him and reach forward,

I am reborn.

In a fight with all things holy and spiritual.

The thoughts and prayers arguing in my ears.

Who are You and are you Him?

Do I turn away or stay and lay my head to rest?

In a wave of motion, sickness arrives.

What do I tell the soul mind and body?

Fate is at the hands of the merciful.

Bliss . .

A word I rarely use but lately . .

I have been having these .. moments,

Where I am at peace, but not peaceful.

Slivers in time where I journey in torment.

Slowly feeling isolation creep in.

This time, I’m prepared.

I await for the dark wave to wash over me,

The sound of nothing strong and deep in my ears.

It was just me and myself and I and the shadows.

I am ever changing.

Evolving and flourishing into my garden of life.

I hold onto every piece of the past and frame them.

The view, a simple reminder of what was left behind.

Eyes forward, mirror empty, awaiting transformation.

I hold no fear of the greatness I will be,

Forever everlasting.

I care because I’m tender hearted.

For you, there is no garden to tend.

Just empty thorns with no roses.

I care because I love to serve.

From the highest window, you observe.

While I play with your shadows down below.
