Top 20 March Hares
Continuing our week of Wonderland countdowns till the 4th of July, the time has come to talk about one of the more underrated characters in the Alice stories: the March Hare. The Mad Hatterâs friend and sidekick in the books is certainly not a character without fans, but I often feel that the Hatterâs popularity often causes the Hare to be overshadowed. (Not as badly as the Dormouse, who I legitimately feel bad about not having a list for this weekâŚmaybe Iâll save that for laterâŚbut still overshadowed.) The Hare is a fun and frenetic character in his own right, and when I was looking for characters to cover for the week, I felt the second major player of the Mad Tea Party would be a fitting option. So, without further ado, here are My Top 20 March Hares!
20. Shaun Smith, from ZooNationâs Mad Hatterâs Tea Party (2014).
19. The Version from Jan Svankmajerâs Alice (1988).
18. Ben Kerr, from the UK Tour of âWonderland.â

Reece is the hottest one!
Here we are! We have the handsome Tweedle Brothers, Dee and Dum, dancing to the DDR and Pump It Up Arrows! They are jamming to SisqĂłâs song, âDance For Me!â Anyhow, let me know what you think!
Ease on down the road with the White Rabbit, with his roller skates and guitar!!!! I hope you all like this picture!!!!
Here is the handsome Dirk Deadline, visiting one of the statues dedicated to the Red Queen. There, the Cheshire Cat tries to cheer him up.
Here is Alice in the midst of rainbow stars, dancing like Janet Jackson! Tell me what you think of the picture and who you want me to draw next!
This picture is the tribute to the beautiful Armelia Audrey McQueen, and her voluptuous character, the Red Queen. Right now, on this sunny day, this pink-winged angel is sailing down the rainbow with a cloud, with the little ones and hearts surrounding her. A little dove hands her a rose, while she wears another on the left side on her head.
Ainât no party like the Mad Hatter party, âcoz the Mad Hatter party donât stop! Look at this eccentric, adorable Adonis partying the whole night through! He loves to party all the time, party all the time!
This is my first Adventures In Wonderland hand drawn pic ever! This is the March Hare doing a tropical dance! Please let me know who I should draw next!
You guys... can I talk for just a minute about the âBorn to Actâ number from âUntwist of Timeâ? Because it is everything I ever wanted out of a Reece Holland performance. The poses and body language and overacting and rolling around on the floor, reaching for the audience... it has everything.
This is the closest I will ever get to seeing him in Les Miserables and I seriously feel like I missed out. Because if this is any indication, it was amazing.
Finished this piece! This was originally for Barricade Day for the Les Miserables fandom but I couldnt finish it in time lol
For context the actor from Adventures in Wonderland who played the March Hare (the talented Reece Holland) also used to play Marius from Les Miserables in 1988
Sorry for the cringy anime style,,,Im still trying to figure out what kind of art style I should have for this fandom and drawing men is hard af Im more used to drawing females jfc
Spread from Newtype Magazine, September 2010. Artwork by Tadashi Hiramatsu.
My spirits have been lifted some, so I thought Iâd share some artwork that I did a while ago. :3
I have this idea that I want to make a storybook version of one of the episodes. I drew this image and decided to try making it look like a page from a book to test out the idea.
Iâm not thrilled with how the page came out if Iâm being honest, but it was a learning experience. I tried to dumb down the writing and I donât really like how it flows. 𤡠I am still fond of the drawing though.
