ok new headcanons about the fact that david is a competative lil shit

matteo usually doesn’t care about winning he is meh about it

he loves being playful though

and he loves it when david wins something bc he smiles like that

if he tries to ‘let david win’ david will literally end matteo

people are super shocked by the fact that david is extra™ when it comes to games etc

bc he is like this sunshine, kind, softest person ever!!!

then he wont leave you, requesting rematches until he wins

the only person david clashes a lot is mia bc she will not stop either

jonas also is up for challanges but sometimes he is like matteo, whatever dude you win

no, I caught that, too. He was smiling and laughing before, when they were wrestling but when Matteo grabbed him from behind, or more specifically, when he had his arms around his chest too tightly, David didn't seem to be playing around anymore when he struggled to throw him off of him. It's not that obvious because David has his hood over half of his face but the way he grits his teeth tells you that he is seriously uncomfortable in that situation.

Yes!! I mean, just look at his face during those 2 seconds or something, it really does look like he’s panicking. I know it could be that he was just struggling to get Matteo off and that’s why his face looks like that, but why would he be trying so hard to get him to let go if he wasn’t uncomfortable?

Can we talk about this?

Some of you are pointing out this scene. And I agree with you saying this doesn’t look like part of their playful and silly wrestling fight anymore.

When Matteo hugs him from behind, arms crossed over his chest, it’s like David loses all amusement, he fucking freaks out to free himself, he uses of all his strength, exploding out of that hug. Which we can see Matteo takes as part of their game, throwing some surprised laughter, oblivious.

What Matteo understood as David leveling up their game, could potentially be the reaction of someone being triggered by that hug. Someone with body disphory and/or using a binder, which some of you theorize David is in this scene.

The thought of this theory being confirmed, including David using a binder for hours and hours straight just to be around Matteo fucking stabs my heart. The fact Matteo can be open with him, but David doesn’t feel he can, doesn’t feel like he will be accepted. I’m hurting.
