i'm quite saddened to know that you feel that way about your art, although I understand and have been there too in the past :( you've been a huge inspiration to me for the last 3 years or so,, I adore your art, the way you represent so realistically the fatness of a person, the beauty in the scenes you depict, the diversity in the ways lard can encase a body or how tight a stomach can look when stuffed all whilst maintaining such a pleasing, unique stylized look to it that i've appreciated so deeply that i've incorporated bits and pieces of it into my own artstyle !! you're so great never stop doing what you do

Hey thanks anon, this is a really sweet thing to send to an internet stranger whining about self-inflicted personal problems. It’s crazy to think I’ve been doing this for years too haha, I look at what I’ve drawn vs what I want to draw and it still feels like I’m only in my first few months of postings when really I’m just horrendously slow, which gets back to my complaining I guess. It just feels so demoralizing to open my art program or to look at what other people on tumblr are doing, it’s hard to feel happiness about fandom shit anymore and its depressing because I know its all on me choosing to be unhappy and unproductive :( sorry, kind of got back into venting again, but yeah, your ask is very appreciated tyty

Hey anon! Just wanted to let you know that I’m stuck in a cycle of perpetual fandom misery where making art is so dreadfully slow that it feels pointless to finish it because by the time it’s done it still feels too slow to be relevant to whatever ask or post or trend it’s responding to, so why even start in the first place? And then I just log on and see every single other person in the world talking and drawing and it’s like whatever, what’s even the point, there’s a billion other people out there doing it better and everyone else is perfectly content with just them and it’s not like I was ever doing it amazingly to begin with because the only thing I ever stood out for was drawing fetish bullshit. So yeah, join the club I guess.
