I took the RAADS-r autism test and got a 221 out of 227. So now my mother has finally agreed that I’m most likely autistic. She’s trying to find a place to get me tested. :)

Marvel has become a special interest a few years ago and I got back into it last year :)
Hi.
I haven’t been on here in a while
marina and the diamonds: TV taught me how to feel, now real life has no appeal
me, neurodivergent, has consistently hyperfixated on media ever since i developed cognitive thought:

Stop infantilizing autistic people
We are not pure precious innocent star children. We are capable of being adults with wants, desires, feelings just like anyone else. People with autism have sex! People with autism fall in love! People with autism can hate!
We are not forever-babies.
April 9: How sensitive are you when it comes to touch? Are you pro hug or anti hug?
I am pro huh as long as it’s deep pressure. I’m anti hug if it’s not.
April 8: What are some misconceptions/stereotypes about autism that you hate?
I’ve heard that we don’t actually have any empathy. That’s not true.
It’s only in boys.

You can only get diagnosed when your an infant
You’ll never experience love
April 7: Talk about autism in the media. Do you think that autism is typically portayed well? Badly? Is there anything you'd like to see more of when it comes to autistic representation? Who are your favorite autistic characters? Do you have any headcanons?
Sometimes in the media autism is portrayed well. But sometimes it’s not. I’d like to see more of people with autism that aren’t the stereotypical “low functioning, train liking, rain man” type. It’s horrible. My favorite autistic characters are
1-Spencer Reid
2-Shigeyo (Mob)
3-Sherlock Holmes from the BBC show
4-Peridot
5- Pearl
6-Dr. Shaun Murphy
7-Rick Sanchez
8- Despite the fact that Autism $peaks is behind it. Julia. I love her. She’s really cute.
I don’t really have any headcannons for any characters unfortunately.
April 6: Are you able to drive? If you can, was it hard for you to learn? If not, what alternatives do you use, if any?
No. I can’t drive
April 5: Talk about your living situation. Do you live with your parents? Do you live on your own? Have roommates? Etc. If you live on your own how hard was it to get used to?
I am a minor. So I still live with my parents. Not much to say on this matter.
April 4: Do you consider your autism to be an important part of your identity?
I don’t know? I’m not diagnosed. But. I guess I kinda do. That’s why I am me. I don’t want to upset anyone with my answer though.
Also look 2D! 8 love him

April 3: Talk about special interests. Do you have any? What are they? How long have you had them? What does it feel like to have special interests? What does having special interests mean to you? Talk about your past special interests
Um. Let’s see. I do have a few. But right now the main two are clowns and serial killers. I know weird. Nobody likes that stuff. But clowns are so cute and colorful! And I like killer clowns because oennywise is just really cool and so is the joker. The serial killer special interest isn’t like. Me having crushes on them. It’s just really interesting seeing how these people became serial killers. Did you know Ted Bundt had a comepletly fine childhood. But then he found violent pornography in an alley and then when he couldn’t find pleasure from magazines and videos he started killing. I always had these special interests but I never started talking about them until now. I would make people uncomfortable and I stopped talking. To me special interests mean watching things about them, getting posters or decor for them. Stimming about them. And Infodumping about them. My past special interests were mainly my little pony, and teenage mutant ninja turtles. I used to watch the movie TMMT over and over again and play out the scenes with foam swords in my hands because I like Leonardo. I still do. Yea. That’s it. There’s more but I’m not talking about it.

April 2: Post your red instead selfie today! Alternatively, you could talk about why you choose to go redinstead and what it means to you.
No selfie. This is a secret account so. The alternative obviously. I chose to go red instead because of the horrible things Autism $peaks has done to people like me. I chose to go red instead because I am very close to getting a formal diagnosis and I don’t want my parents or friends supporting a horrible organization
