The interface looks good using the same color scheme as webpage. The side drawing menu has become a standard now. However, why would a Samsung Galaxy phone show back, home, recent-app icons? Screenshots and photoshopping gone wrong!
Facebook is (probably) trying a new interface. The big icon is bigger than all others and is out of place. It shows a dialog like the old-style one used for permissions, which doesn't go well with the other popups like notifications or privacy filters. Clicking on my name goes to my timeline. But why should i go to my timeline using from "two prominent locations" in my home page?
Facebook uses red to catch attention in a page ruled by blue. The color's vibrancy doesn't work well with cool blue.
Facebook's voice calling feature has the call end button in the far left. This being easier to reach by the user, it's more likely to get hit -- ending the call. The red button causes a visual glitch too. The last button isn't pretty straightforward. Is that for pausing? Probably it could have been at the center (following new iOS tabs pattern), or in a separate row above. iOS and Android wins there.
The highlight of the selected item is lost in the color of the items and the background of the page.

Facebook is going the un-conventional way! Interesting!
Facebook's individual posts are showing a rounded corner. This is totally different from the look and feel of their inherit website theme.
The google chrome ad on search page didn't somehow take care of two things:
1. Using a PNG to avoid the white areas
2. Using a translucent background to take care of "customized" search pages.
Shouldn't the command to bring this up be shown somewhere else? It's funny to see a window saying, "Do this to bring me up!" :P
The small little drop hanger on top of each post in Facebook is a nice little UI to tweak settings easily. However, it somehow merges with the "sort options" and leave me feel like the arrow is a part of "entire news feed". Probably there needs to be some spacing between sort and arrow -- or the arrow should not be on the top line.
Opening Mac AppStore after a long time, I found the updates section having 2 updates ready to install. Though the list have all the controls, the title of the page (showing the status) said "No updates available" :P
Is it that "no updates available other than these two"? Doesn't make sense to me somehow!
After a sudden refresh of my Google Reader, I found the row height of each article to be reduced. The earlier design was spacious and had more breathing space. This somehow feels super cramped. Also, with Google coming up with "Currents" for mobile devices (ofcourse to kick out Flipboard), will Google Reader continue to run the show? Or, will Google Reader follow the magazine style someday?
I like the Google Docs search box being right up there and following the theme. However, there are few issues that didn't quite give a pleasing experience.
When I tried doing a Cmd-F, this box got focus. As a Firefox user, I was still searching for the bottom search box. Though there is a blue outline, it gets lost in the greyed background. More feedback is better.
The up and down buttons for previous and next occurrence is shown always. This to me is somehow a visual clutter. They can be shown based on whether a search has been entered or not.
On entering a search, I had to hit either of these buttons (or enter key) to start the search. Probably an explicit "->" button to initiate the search would have been better.
Once I have started searching, (by default it highlights all occurrences), I cannot clear the search easily. I need to erase all the characters and hit enter (or press one of those buttons again). An "x" button while hovering over the text box or near the "1 of 10 matches" would be awesome and clearer than the erasing all characters.
Facebook's ticker told me that one of my friends like one of her friends' photo. I clicked on to see the same. Shocking thing -- other than the girl's face -- was that, I can "share" the photo! Wait? I can share anyone's photo on Facebook? Whaat? and Why??
It's a widely acknowledged fact that clippy is more of annoyance than a helper! This particular app in Mac app store claims it to be a "productivity" tool! :P
