I’ve seen some background noise pages around tumblr like rainymood, but I don’t think I’ve really seen this page recommended on tumblr.
myNoise.net
The plus of this page is without a doubt the huge list of sound machines that you can open in several tabs and mix as you like, ranging from natural sounds like rain and waves to industrial noises to relaxing tunes like in utero. It’s suitable as background noise for work as well as for relaxing and sleep.
Also recommended:
soundrown (10 noises)
rainymood (rain)
Coffitivy (background chatter, also available as app)
SoundsToSleepTo (6 noises)

Hey guys here are the Photoshop brushes that i often use in my paintings. I included 56 brushes in there, some I use often like the airbrush for skin, and some I like to experiment with. Feel free to try them out. A lot of them are Photoshop standard brushed that I changed the settings on. I recommend playing around with the brush settings to see what you like best because every bush has the potential to be awesome, you just need to fins the way to us it : ). Also I usually paint at 70-100% opacity with the pressure option on( its already included in the brushes).
Have fun you guys !

WYX2 With the dusky coolness of antique stained glass fired by unfiltered sunlight on a clear and cold winter day, the weird and wyrd, the esoteric and the technologically epic, and even the everyday, intersect with calm and colorful impact in WYX2’s work.
As we all know, punctuation is crucial. Despite the importance, however, it is fairly skipped over in school––specifically dashes, commas, and semicolons (seriously, when the fuck are you supposed to use those?)––so I’m here to help! And by “I’m here to help,” I mean,...
Growing up, my most fond memories was visiting abandoned places with my brother. To this day, if opportunity presents itself, I bring my camera and take a few pictures. These are not my work ofcourse, but I hope you enjoy the visual beauty and maybe it brings fond memories of your own adventures.

Because I could not stop for Death, He kindly stopped for me; The carriage held but just ourselves And Immortality.
We slowly drove, he knew no haste, And I had put away My labor, and my leisure too, For his civility.
We passed the school, where children strove At recess, in the ring; We passed the fields of gazing grain, We passed the setting sun.
Or rather, he passed us; The dews grew quivering and chill, For only gossamer my gown, My tippet only tulle.
We paused before a house that seemed A swelling of the ground; The roof was scarcely visible, The cornice but a mound.
Since then ‘tis centuries, and yet each Feels shorter than the day I first surmised the horses’ heads Were toward eternity.
~Emily Dickinson
One of my favorite poems ever.
