CRIMINAL MINDS ♱ DESIRED REALITY
“she looked like a religious icon, like someone you’d sacrifice yourself for…”
♱ Rebecca June Ivory, born on October 12, 1981 is the twin of Dr. Spencer Reid, an FBI profiler known for his genius intellect and photographic memory. While Spencer was praised for his brilliance, Rebecca often felt like the “ordinary” twin, despite her own intelligence and passion. She spent most of her life in London with their father, Vincent Ivory, whose perfectionism created constant tension. He dismissed Rebecca’s love for ballet and criminology, comparing her to Spencer and making her feel she’d never measure up. Determined to prove her worth, Rebecca pursued criminology to protect the innocent, while ballet became her outlet for strength and self-expression.
SEPTEMBER 2005 ♱ Rebecca finally decides to take control of her life as she moved back to the United States and settled in Washington, to follow her dream of joining the FBI’s Behavioural Analysis Unit (BAU). There, she meets Samantha Hargreeves, a profiler with a warm heart and gentle spirit. Samantha’s kindness quickly makes her Rebecca’s closest friend, and the two form an unbreakable bond.

I guess opposites attract… ♱ Rebecca ivory and Aaron Hotchner were complete opposites with Aaron’s stoic, reserved nature clashed with Rebecca’s warm, empathetic personality. Yet, these differences drew them together. Aaron admired Rebecca’s deep understanding of people, while she was captivated by his quiet strength and dedication. They became the kind of couple that, though seemingly opposites, fit perfectly together.
