Well, firstly, I want to thank everyone for the flowers, and the cards, and the posts, and the well-wishes and… everything, you guys have done. It’s more than I ever could have imagined I’d get, but then again, I never really thought I’d be in a situation like this. I’m not quite sure how much you guys know, but I figured I’d clear the air, and explain what I know about my condition. Obviously, I’m alive. Which is nothing short of a miracle, and something I’m extraordinarily grateful for. God is good. However, my spine was severely compressed, and I, at least for the present time, do not have the use of my feet or legs. I can’t even feel them, actually. Which is… scary. For sure. But on the bright side, the doctors say that I do stand a chance at a full recovery, with a lot of physical therapy, and more importantly, your prayers. I also want to apologize, if I scared any of you. And obviously, I’m not really in any place to be giving out life lessons, but texting and driving? Don’t do it. No text is worth it, I promise you that.
It’s so good to hear from you, Quinn. I can’t even begin to imagine what you’re going through right now, but please know that we’re all here for you, and that I’m just a text or phone call away if you or your family need anything. You’re one of the strongest women I know, so I’m sure you’re going to get through this.
