These are all the packets of printed and hand written note that I need to study for my College Biology EXAM tomorrow!!! This might drive me as crazy as practicing for speeches this whole week..it's been a long and busy week for me. Can't wait for it to end..I could use a weekend!!

The past is the PAST.....

Today some old memories resurfaced in front if me. Just some little things that don’t really mean a lot when I look back on them. An old friend, more like a friend of only ever since preschool until a few years back, brought them to me, saying it was for my birthday. I never thought she would give something like that to me..not saying it was something bad. Now this person and I have been friends forever until I transferred schools two years back. But during the last parts of our friendship things were already rocky. So since my transfer, things were odd and I never really saw her but when I did it was awkward. She showed up at my house and said she’d been too busy lately to bring the gifts so she brought them today. I didn’t know what to say honestly. I thanked her and she left. At first I was touched, cuz I haven’t given her anything in the two years I’ve been gone. When I opened the birthday gift, I didn’t understand what it was until I read all the little sticky notes on them. She’d given me all or most of the letters and note stuff I’ve given her when we were younger. On each item she had a sticky note explaining it like, “this is from you on my ?? birthday” “I still had this and read it to myself sometimes” “I hope you’ll carry on our memories” those good things I guess. But to me they were all written in the past tense. I also didn’t get why a person would ask me to hold onto memories but yet they are giving up the items that I gave them for them to remember the good times? I saw it as an excuse, maybe, to give them back or a reason to throw them away? I didn’t get her motive.maybe she meant the best but I saw it the wrong way. In the end..from my view..I guess it’s good she got rid of them, now we can move on and remember that all those things WERE all in the past. It was nice of her to get me a birthday gift, but I put too much thought into it and made my day a little bummed out. I did however enjoy a trip down memory lane.

At work during the blizzard, and this us what I see...can't even see the water tower anymore and things that are soo close also are hard to see..good thing I live near work!..this is the kind of weather that I can go home and watch movies or do NOTHING! Can't wait to go home..

After spending the majority if my day in these slippers..the bathroom floors have never felt COLDER!! Now I feel like I can't go anywhere without them on..the house feels like there should be snow inside, but in reality it is 75 degrees here. I've never been so ready for wiNtER to be over..

What a long day well spent..came back from a day with my family. Sometimes you forget how loved you really are. I couldn't ask for a better day or family. Coming home to a beautiful sunset truly was the "frosting on the cake." You don't see this sort of sunset everyday. I wish I could hug and tell my family everyday how much I truly love and appreciate them. Family is what everyone needs to be happy I guess.

Making pizza on the day we have no school..mmmm..warms me up! Love baking and making food!! House smells delicious now.
