About Staccarto

Staccarto is a queerplatonic ship between Bach and Cathe from the ClassicaLoid fandom. They're also known as BachCathe, BachxCathe, 🎬☕️.

Bach is a producer in a talent agency called Arkhe, he is also the one in charge of the agency. Cathe is one of the art directors of Arkhe who is working along side him.

I would say Bach's character developed well during S1, he was the main antagonist. During S2, he became a side character to the point I think he is underdeveloped, or neglected due to the story. He barely has any canon official art (for magazines, merch, promotional art // CD cover NOT included!!), but he has fanon contents, however it is quite rare these days since not quite a lot of people like him (liking as in top favorite yk). It's understandable. I really wish people would like him more. All I can do is make content and talk about him.

Weight in Gold

Finally I'm back to drawing my yumeship. This artwork is inspired by some things. I've watched umamusume's Gold-Triumph MV a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love the editing and the composition. It inspired me to make similar content like the one in the video! Cathe's dress is just the tweaked version of Orfevre's dress in Gold-Triumph MV.

I remember seeing an artist who drew Bach years ago, they drew him with a new clothing that is inspired by S2 E24 where he turned into Kannon-like form. I think it is a cool idea! I made my own version with different clothes than what they have drawn.

Imagine your f/o being asked point blank "are you obsessed with them" and going through five visible stages of grief before saying "...obsessed is a strong word." It's not a strong enough word.

Been thinking of teacher AU of Staccarto. But I don't want to assign them to the obvious like Bach with Music, and Cathe with Art.

I think Bach would either be a History, Math, or Literature teacher. Cathe could be a literature teacher too, but she would be leaning towards coding or computer class?

Perhaps Bach could be a History teacher while Cathe is a Literature teacher.

Bach would be a strict teacher, and his lessons sound like a university lecturer. If someone doesn't care nor respect his class, he will threaten them to receive 0 marks on their exam and quizzes if they continue their behavior. Cathe enjoys stories, analysing characters and motivation. She would try to make her lessons interactive, like writing a perspective of the other character, making posters, etc.

Man I miss my dream yesterday...

I didn't know what Bach said because the language was in Japanese and there was no translation lol. But something about his voice makes me calm and happy. The thing I do miss a lot is his soft laughter at the end, he barely even laughs in the show. Even if he did in the show, it's just a small huff. The one in my dream feels like he is genuinely happy. 🥲

I hope Classicaloid gets revived even if it is just a small gift to the fans.

Communication has been the core of Staccarto's relationship.

They both hate arguments, yet they both sometimes argue, distance themselves, or give silent treatments. This happens a lot unfortunately. In the end they talk about it because they want to be a better person and stabilize their relationship.

One time they decided to travel together to take a break from Arkhe. Bach had planned a schedule for all of their trips. The problem is... Bach is too strict with the schedule he made, he could unintentionally make someone feel ignored or unappreciated. Cathe on the other hand, she could be too shy to want attention from Bach, or she doesn't want to bother him.

In the past before they met, Cathe always thought people like Bach—who had planned or paid for trips have "the upper hand" to decide, so Cathe could feel like her role is not equal.

She wanted to stop by multiple places, sometimes even interested to get something for her or both of them. But Bach reminds her of their schedule so they won't miss anything. Cathe thought maybe he is right, but deep down, she thought that they'll miss so much during their vacation, but it doesn't feel like they're traveling with each other whenever he is too strict to the schedule. She became upset, but she didn't tell the problem to Bach, he began to notice she was too quiet or not as excited as before. He did ask why, but Cathe brushes it off as if everything was fine.

While they were at the hotel to rest, he carefully asked again if Cathe was upset about him, he didn't know what he did wrong and he was worried that he might upset her. Cathe eventually spilled everything from her felt ignored and feelings like they were not having a vacation together. It feels like they're just sticking to a schedule instead of actually having fun. She also said there were some places she wanted to stop by, Cathe was interested in buying something too, but Bach didn't see it, instead they continued walking along. Of course, he felt guilty for ignoring her and making her feel that way, but so does Cathe for not telling sooner and quickly to assume that things from her past will be the same with Bach.

Bach then makes it up to her. He wants to know which location she wants to stop by, and what was the item she wanted to get. Eventually, they both went out before the store closed to get that item before it was too late. Bach told her that he cleared their schedule for tomorrow's vacation, he wanted to actually spend time with Cathe and pay attention to her. Cathe also promises she will say something to get his attention even if it's silly to her.

One of Cathe's fears is being abandoned. Even though she is used to having friendships that became distanced because of their fault or hers, she doesn't want to go to another heartbreak and deal with her emotions.

When they're living together, she once woke up from a nightmare about Bach leaving her because he is tired of her.

Words means nothing to Cathe, so Bach didn't brush it off like telling her it was just a nightmare or it is not real. He proves that he still cares about her by staying up until she is calm enough to sleep—offering anything to comfort her, such as a drink, some midnight snacks, turning the lights on, staying up together, etc.
