We are so glad to present a new line of mandalas by Uritan - This is one of 6 mandalas featuring Butterflies of the world.
The Malachite Butterfly lives in tropical and semi-tropical zones all over North, Central, and South America & is called "Malaquita Esmeralda" in Spanish.
Like most Butterflies, the Malachite lays eggs on a specific family (or families) of plant. Butterfly researchers call this their Host Plant. The population of the certain plants directly effects populations of Butterflies. Female Malachite butterflies look for Ruellia family plants on which to lay eggs which will hatch into catepilars who will become the next generation of butterflies.
As I mentioned, this is one of a series of butterfly inspired designs. Each week I will post some fun info about each of the six butterflies and their corresponding image. The next butterfly to be spotlighted on this blog will be the famous Blue Morpho!

Finally I'm back to drawing my yumeship. This artwork is inspired by some things. I've watched umamusume's Gold-Triumph MV a few weeks ago, and I absolutely love the editing and the composition. It inspired me to make similar content like the one in the video! Cathe's dress is just the tweaked version of Orfevre's dress in Gold-Triumph MV.
I remember seeing an artist who drew Bach years ago, they drew him with a new clothing that is inspired by S2 E24 where he turned into Kannon-like form. I think it is a cool idea! I made my own version with different clothes than what they have drawn.
One of Cathe's fears is being abandoned. Even though she is used to having friendships that became distanced because of their fault or hers, she doesn't want to go to another heartbreak and deal with her emotions.
When they're living together, she once woke up from a nightmare about Bach leaving her because he is tired of her.
Words means nothing to Cathe, so Bach didn't brush it off like telling her it was just a nightmare or it is not real. He proves that he still cares about her by staying up until she is calm enough to sleep—offering anything to comfort her, such as a drink, some midnight snacks, turning the lights on, staying up together, etc.
I'm a sucker for Stained Glass artworks!! I used to watch MLP, the castle's interior would have a lot of stained glasses that tells an important moment, either to learn from the past or to celebrate it. There is something beautiful about them, it's like painting the light when the light passes through the glass, making a reflection on the ground.
This year marks one of their important moments, which is their 4th anniversary back on March 12th. They're not married, however, blue hydrangeas are usually used for the couple's 4th anniversary of their marriage for some cultures.
Blue hydrangeas in Japan have some meanings too. Such as apology, regret, and sincere remorse. They're not the best, rather negative descriptions of a flower, but it describes their relationship. They're not good with communication, they've felt bitterness, betrayed, or abandoned even though it was never their intention. From all of those situations, they still have the initiative to apologize and understand their intentions. They have regrets, but those regrets shape them to be a better partner for each other.
For positive meanings, blue hydrangeas also have meanings of understanding and gratitude.

This art piece has some references to them. The blue hydrangeas are a symbol of their 4th anniversary (March 12th). I read a few blogs before and discovered that Blue Hydrangeas are meant to symbolize a couple's 4th anniversary of marriage. However, Cathe and Bach aren't married, but people could mistake them as one.
Blue and Yellow colors are often shown here, it is their color!
Frangipani flowers are placed here since Cathe is Indonesian, and usually those flowers are associated with Southeast Asia and Hawaii. These flowers have a meaning of devotion and protection, and it relates to Cathe since she desires safety or beings secured, like protected. She also desires someone who she could rely on, and someone to stick to her till the end.
The German Shepherd dog at the corner is their dog! It was Cathe's gift to Bach on their 3rd anniversary. The dog's name is Zumwalt, so he is around 1 year old now!
Music album and the Golden Record is related to Bach, he creates music in the anime and the story has some involvement with the golden record. It is also related to Bach's ideal world, making every human being able to use Musik to express their emotions or a message in order to not leave any misunderstanding. Then the aliens know the existence of earth's music from the golden record, they eventually came to earth to hear more. (yeah I know this shit is wild af I don't even know what to say)
Another character shows up on the golden record, that's a canon character from Monster Hunter Stories 3 named Gaul. I see him as my son and he means a lot to me, additionally, he does look like Bach.
Cathe has ever worn Bach's cloak. For her, she feels safe with it when he is away, although it is way too oversized.
At most of the artworks here, Cathe's head is located higher than where Bach is. He never told Cathe personally, but he preferred if he could look up to her or see her at eye-level, it is a sign for respecting and adoring her. Sometimes you'll see Bach carrying Cathe because of this.
There's a tiny chibi art of them, it was them during pre-season 1 where they loathed each other.
Extra art from Ein00ya! I commissioned this piece months ago and I still love it! Yes, I have the Bach plushie irl! I brought him everywhere I go. He also watches after my booth at conventions.
