{TESTIMONY} Wow! 2020 has showed out for me. Initially, I was going to ONLY keep this news within my family and friends because I didn’t receive the badge of recognition in the traditional “go to class at an institution, write a dissertation etc. way”. BUT ..... this morning God said to me NO. Google Dr. Maya Angelou. And well... I did. And there it was. Dr. Maya Angelou did not receive her doctorate from going the traditional route of matriculating through formal education. So .... well... I decided to share my most recent honor now. It’s a shame that it took me looking at Dr. Angelou to feel comfortable sharing what I know I am so dangnabit proud of receiving. This is really a testament to my operating in what I know is the only reason God gives me breath every morning - the empowerment and betterment of women in life and love. The work I do ... now for 8 years... literally is why I wake up in the morning. I KNOW THIS. Today I join the ranks of so many others, like Dr. Maya Angelou who do the work of humanitarianism but did not go to get the formal education. The people who have a proven track record within various groups, organizations and communities for providing compassionate assistance and actively engaging in promoting human welfare and impacting the community with their life experiences to help make a change locally and around the world.
