      fifteen minutes. seriously - what kind of fucked up asshole implemented such a guideline in the workforce and why the hell was it still put into effect? fifteen minutes got people nowhere. hell you’d have to be usain bolt to accomplish anything in such a timeframe. despite the restrictive notion, blaise often disregarded it. her fifteen often dragged into twenty, sometimes thirty depending on the night; usually avoiding any repercussions - s’what she got for being skilled in her craft. 

      she’d slipped out of the dimly lit club and exhaled a sigh, the fresh air cool against her skin. though fresh quickly became tainted by the flick of a lighter and the burning embers of her cigarette. her glance remained unwavering before slight action called for her attention - the creak of the door. “so you found my spot, huh?” familiarity present in her tone as a cloud of smoke slipped past painted lips.

stacy loved her job - it wasn’t often in her previous life that she felt free and every time she got on that stage, it was like her whole face lit up at the slightest sound of praise. that was one thing that hadn’t changed after her divorce. she needed attention - craved it - but she’d never admit that. she didn’t want to be the kind of person who searched for love from others in order to find it in herself, but it had been engrained in her and it was a hard thing to shake. she’d just finished dancing and she put on a jacket before heading outside, deciding that she didn’t want to get cold while smoking. she headed outside, lighting her joint as she put it between her lips and smirking slightly at the words the other woman had said. “your spot? baby, this is my spot and you know it.” she responded as she let the smoke out of her mouth, laughing lightly before taking another quick hit and blowing the smoke out. “if i didn’t know any better, i’d think you only came out here so you’d potentially run into me.” stacy was mostly teasing, but she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t attracted to blaise.

Connor had a little more to eat than he should have but he was never able to resist an all you can eat buffet. He fell into a comfortable state of bliss on the couch and didn’t even realize he had drifted off into sleep until he was poked awake by someone.
